Tabitha followed him into the kitchen and sat down at one of the chairs at the table. She stared down at her hands for a moment, before glancing up at him.

Morph avoided looking at her for a moment, still tense and somewhat irritated; he knew he needed to talk to her right now and end the issue that way or another, but decided to make some coffee first before speaking, to pull this off for a minute more. He filled the coffee maker with water and fresh coffee and switched it on.

Tabitha kept quiet and just let her eyes wander over the kitchen, while he was fixing up the coffee. She looked back to her hands and just watched as one of her 'bomb' started forming in the palm of her hand. It got about the size of a small bouncy ball and then it would shrink. She kept doing that, waiting until he'd speak to her or yell at her.

While he had nothing to do at the moment, Kevin walked back to the kitchen door and closed it to save Mark from any noise. Then, with nothing better to do, he got a cigarette and lit it, taking a slow pull.
"So..." he said finally.

The energy in Tabitha's hand shrunk down to a microscopic particle before in exploded. Giving off no sound or visual of it's detonation. "I'm- " She started. "Really, really sorry." She said, quietly.

Kevin hadn't expected her to apologize. Seemed like the picture of their recent argument was slightly blurry in his head - well, not surprising, as he could be really blinded by anger sometimes. The aggravation was still there, but at least now he could think and act rationally. He lowered the hand holding the cigarette and looked at Tabitha. "I'm sorry, too," he said. "I should have thought twice before snapping at you like this..."

Tabitha shook her head. "No, no. You had every right to snap. You wake up to find yourself in your bed with a girl and you haven't a clue how you got there. I would've been snappy too if it had happened to me." She told him, nodding.

Morph leaned against the counter behind him and smoked in silence for a few seconds. "Still, I'm sorry," he said. "I ask too much of you already, anyway. I probably should remember to be reasonable at least sometimes."

Tabitha nodded slowly. "I swear to god nothing happened." She promised. "I was really tired." She said quietly and looked back to her hands. "I really should have gone and slept on the couch, but I didn't even think."

"It's all right," Kevin said. He reached for the ashtray and flicked the ash off with a slight tap of his finger against the cigarette. "I really shouldn't have put you through this. I'll probably come up with a better solution next month." He was now feeling extremely guilty for having yelled at her.

Tabitha nodded again. "Like what?" She asked about the 'better solution'. She only asked, because she was worried about Mark's safety. She hadn't seen Kevin do anything too bad while sleep-walking, besides the chain smoking, but still.

"I don't know," Kevin said. "I really don't. I usually put him in the same bed with me because the idea of SIDS freaks me out, but maybe there is a way to solve everything at once." He raised the cigarette to his mouth and smoked with a gloomy face.

Tabitha thought for a few moments about how all things could be solved at once. "How?" She said after a moment.

Kevin opened his mouth for another 'I don't know', then noticed that coffee was ready. He poured it into two cups, got a teaspoon for Tabitha and put in onto the table in front of her along with the cup. "Maybe lock Mark in the room and sleep separately, buy a breath tracking device or something..." he said, sitting down as well opposite from her.

"Thanks." Tabitha mumbled and then nodded slowly at his words, worrying her bottom lip between her teeth in thought, as she poured sugar into her coffee. "That could work, but with your whole sleep-walking thing..." She shook her head.
