Not reacting to anything around him, Kevin had calmed down again and was sleeping soundly now, as his sleeping cycle changed to another stage.

Tabitha's eyes drifted close as soon and she knew there was enough space between them, she then fell back asleep.

In a few hours, just before it would be light outside again, Kevin was awakened by Mark's voice. He got up immediately, standing by Mark's bed, and then realized something was wrong.
Wasn't he supposed to be sleeping on the couch?.. He turned around to make sure that his eyes weren't lying in the dark room, and that this was, indeed, his bedroom, only to find Tabitha sleeping in the same bed. He just stood staring at her for a while, unsure of what had happened, forgetting about Mark for a second.

Tabitha heard some noised, but her eyes didn't open right away. She turned over on her back slowly and brought her arms over her head as she stretched her body out. She then sat up and rubbed her eyes, before looking up to see Kevin staring at her. She blinked a few times. "Good morning?"

Kevin blinked. Good morning? "What the hell?!" he demanded, not keeping his voice down.

Tabitha jumped and then got out of the bed quickly. "You were doing your sleep walking thing and switching DVDs over and I stopped you and then you came in here and lied down." She told him in a bit of a hurry. "And I was too tired to try and kick you out of the bed and you looked like you were sleeping so, so I just went to bed. Nothing happened."

"The hell do you mean, nothing happened?!" Kevin exclaimed. Mark reacted to the loud voices by starting to cry. "I'm not going to wake up in the same bed with you and call it nothing! Couldn't you have woken me up or something?!"

"Oh, my god! It's not like we freaking slept together!" Tabitha said. "I was tired, okay? I watch your son all day, then, usually go to a six hour job afterwords, and now I'm starting to come here and look after you! Do know how much worrying I've done over this whole sleep walking thing in last 48 hours? I'm sorry that I didn't wake your ass up and send you to the couch." Hearing crying she looked to Mark. "Look what you did. You made him cry!" She said and went to get Mark.

Kevin was closer to the crib so he was faster than her in getting Mark. He took the baby out and hugged him to his chest, though he wasn't exactly too calm at the moment to be able to offer some comfort to his crying son. The most he could do was stroke the baby's back soothingly.
"Right, so you were tired and this kind of justifies it?!" he wasn't going to just up and accept her explanations - once Kevin's temper was set off, he usually took a while to calm down and start thinking reasonably. "I can't believe you just went and did it just like this!"

Tabitha closed her eyes and took a deep breath, so she wouldn't lose her temper completely. Opening her eyes she looked at Kevin. "Let me put this in a way you can understand. We. Did. Not. Have. Sex." She said slowly as if talking to a child. "All we did was sleep in the same bed. It's innocent enough. I'm sorry that I was tired." She snapped and then walked out of the room to go to the living room. If she stayed in there any longer, she would start screaming and words that Mark should never hear would come out of her mouth. Although, some words already had.

As much as Kevin wanted to follow her and continue the argument in the same manner, he felt that he needed to keep Mark away from it. So he stayed where he was, lulling Mark, even though he was irate, he was boiling with anger, just as every other time his temper would show and make him mostly deaf and blind to anything. Even Brady had been no exception there, and two other people had died because of that. Mark's presence unexpectedly put restrictions on it.
The incident had set him off because of how wildly illogical it was to him. Ever since Brady's death, he hadn't cared about other women, and in most cases, didn't even notice those were women. The idea of sleeping in the same bed - heck, the same room with one seemed as plausible to him now as time travel. His reaction was mostly that of shock.

Tabitha was sitting on the couch, getting out clothes she was going to wear today. A frown on her features. It was an accident. She was truly tired and he had said himself that when he was in his sleep-walking phaze that she shouldn't wake him up. She didn't even think and just went to bed... She sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

Kevin was still fuming as he started to change Mark's diaper and then went on to feed him. He kept rewinding the incident and the conversation in his head. She said she was tired and then went to bed with him. Couldn't she have slept on the couch? It was just a few steps away, wasn't such a big journey no matter how tired she could be.
But then again, a rational part of his brain couldn't help but agree with her - they simply shared a bed for half of the night, and it really was completely innocent... Unless there was something she wasn't telling him, and he usually never remembered anything after his sleepwalking periods, so he realized there was no way of finding out, either.
He was becoming more thoughtful, not without Mark's help as he was feeding him from the bottle, and his anger was somewhat dissipating.

Tabitha was starting to feel horrible as she changed in the bathroom into her day clothes. She should have been more responsible, been more awake. She had been through tough situations before. Things that were way much worse then falling asleep in her employers bed, but still.
Once she was changed she left the bathroom and went to stuff her things back in her bag. She then went and found Kevin feeding Mark. She didn't say anything, just crossed her arms over her chest and looked down at her sneaker clad feet.

When Kevin was finished with feeding Mark, he put the baby back into bed, supplying him with some toys. He wasn't going to ignore his son for the rest of the morning, but did it just to gain some five minutes to talk with Tabitha.
As he walked past her, he nodded to her to follow him, not wishing to risk ruining Mark's calm mood by speaking again, and went to the kitchen.
