"Yeah, ok," Brady nodded, and then stood up, going over and checking the pasta. She turned the burner off and grabbed the pot of noodles, taking it over to the sink. She then got the strainer and set it in the sink, before pouring the pasta in it. Her mind thinking over the fact that she might have to go back to France. Not paying attention some of the boiling hot water poured on her hand and she dropped the pot, "F*ck!" She exclaimed the word almost foreign to her lips, she barely ever said it.

Morph dropped the spoon into the sauce and hurried over to her. "You okay?" he asked, concerned, he hadn't noticed what exactly had happened.

Brady nodded, looking down at her now red stinging hand, "Burnt my hand with the water..." She said softly and showed him.

Morph opened the tap with cold water, ignoring the pasta that was all over the sink and gently directing her hand under it.

Brady winced slightly when the cold water first made contact with her skin, but it soon started to feel a little better, "I'm sorry." She said looking at the pasta all over the sink.

Morph turned at the suspicious hising from the stove; the sauce was burned down, apparently. "Yeah," he nodded, staring at it. "Ramen." Then he turned to look at Brady. "I don't have any stuff for burns, so you probably should keep your hand under cold water for a while... I can't offer anything else." With his mutations, he barely ever needed any medicine. "Or if you want, I can go to a drugstore and fetch something."

"No, it's alright. I'll be fine." She said, keeping her hand under the cold water and leaning againt the counter.

"Only if you're sure," Morph replied. He switched the stove and set the saucepan with frizzling remains of the sauce aside. Opening his cupboard, he found two packages of ramen noodles and put water in the electric kettle to boil.

Morph gave her a comforting smile and busied himself with crushing the contents of the packages, then opening them and pouring the noodles into two bowls. "Well, at least we didn't fall off the chairs while hanging the curtain..." he sighed.
