Sunshine stood behind her escort, not really knowing what to do or say as he downed one creepy un-dead guy after another. "I'm not going to argue." She had another thought and turned to the crowd. "Is anyone hurt?"

Dia turned and smiled at Ty for a moment before she heard what Jack said, feeling unbelievably better about this and running to the passenger side of his car to climb in.

Rin ducked when the shots were fired above his head at the zombies behind him. He turned to see the dead bodies, and ran more for the car, his blades still extended from his hands and his eyes glowing. "Leapin' Librarians! What the heck is going on!?"

Ty returned Pietro's embrace a bit awkwardly, encumbered by her knives, but relieved to see him nonetheless. "I am, and so are you." She returned Dia's smile, then regarded the others. The atmosphere seemed tense, but she waited, knives still drawn. The man near the SUV seemed to be giving orders, and they looked as if they were finding usable cars and taking them. She glanced at Pietro, hearing him ask where they would meet. They must be getting out of the city. It was better then staying on foot.

He looked back to the girl he met and nodded to the blonde haired guy. "You drive, I'll ride shotgun. You have any mags back there for a .45 Desert Eagle?" he asked the guy who seemingly took charge.

Jack looked out of the window, watching as a few ran to get themselves into cars. "We'll all meet at Xavier's mansion. That place is pretty well guarded. Got good, thick doors. Don't complain, Roadrunner," added Jack with a faint sneer. He spoke towards Calvin, "Sure, I can.." he drifted off and he turned his head to look out of the windscreen, seeing more zombies trudge towards them with slow steps. "nuts, guys, get into a car!" he said, aiming with his weapon out of his window and firing at the creatures.

Phoebe nodded and was about to reply when a zombie hobbled up and bit her neck, taking a piece of her with it. As she cried out in pain, she shot the thing, blowing a hole in it's torso. She punched her arm out, knocking off the top half of it before she grimaced. The damn thing had gotten her in the car. Stupid convertibles.

"I wouldn't, were I you,"::Pietro said to Jack, taking all his patience not to swear in German. He had come from the mansion, and the devastation there was no better. Worse than that, Wanda was most certainly *not* at the mansion, and she was who he sought. Seeing Phoebe caught of guard, he grabbed Rossignol with him and dodged out of the way of the zombie, who fell with the gunshot. For good measure, he brought the lead pipe down into its skull. Finding a nearby Camry, he pried open the door.:: "Inside, now."

"Wait!" Sunshine called out before Calvin could get into the SUV. "The red-head in the convertible, she's hurt!" She grabbed Calvin's hand and started running towards Phoebe. "Don't think I'm going anywhere without you. I'm stickin' with the big black dude with the shiny guns." She made it across the madness to Phoebe, who was bleeding pretty badly. "Hold still." Sunshine said. She rubbed her hands together, concentrating, and then placed one over the wound on Phoebe's neck. She closed her eyes and squished up her face. When she moved her hand, there was still blood, but no wound. "Okay, big guy, let's make like a tree and get the f*ck out of here."

Dia covered her mouth to keep from screaming when she saw the sick creatures heading towards their car, watching as Jack shot at them. Turning, she saw a few on her side of the SUV and rolled down her window a little, shooting a few times at a couple of them, but only hitting them half of the time.

Ty barely had time to register the zombies coming towards them before Pietro grabbed her out of the way of one who attacked. She got in the car, sheathing her knives, but that didn't stop her eyes from flashing, turning two zombies coming towards them to piles of ash. Hearing the dark haired man's comment, she almost vowed he'd be next...except he was the one with the big guns.

He looked to the girl with a slight smile on his face, "How'd you know I was such a sucker for Back to the Future references? Come on, you drive, I'll clear us a path!" He spotted a two-door hard-top Camaro, firing four shots at the impending zombies, all four shot splitting a skull wide open and he hurried her along. "If we're not meeting at this mansion you said about, where then? I heard something about a mutant nightclub here, how safe is that place?!" he yelled to the guy driving the SUV.

"Hellfire? Sounds good to me," said Jack as he pulled his gun back into the car. He checked the rear view mirror, zombies were crawling towards the back window. Gritting his teeth, he shoved the vehicle into reverse and shot backwards, slamming the zombie bodies into the brick wall behind the SUV.

When the girl came up to Phoebe and healed her, Phoebe smiled in gratitude and nodded. Hearing what was said, she put the top up, shifted the car into gear and headed to Hellfire. Zombies tried to stop her, but she plowed them down.

Sunshine jumped in the car, and then looked over at Calvin. The look on her face was reminiscent of a small child getting caught drawing on a wall. "Um, I can't drive stick. We should go get in that SUV with Captain Homeland Security back there." She smiled hopefully. "I'm Sunshine, by the way."
