Rin blinked a few times at the dim lights within the grocery store, the cold air not helping. "Oh, yeah well, they were worried at first... as most parents are, but when they realized that most of it had been caught in time, they were fine... Though we had enough can foods to last us for a good long time thereafter." He chuckled. "You?"

"No," ::Pietro had no reason to fear the so-called millennial doomsday, nor had anyone he knew, and they were better off for not wasting their time. However, one could easily learn what to shop for, if they had been involved in such a frenzy.:: "That is how we are shopping."

That was when Rin got the point. Canned Goods, dried foodstuffs. He knew he shouldn't have thought Pietro was just generating conversation. He chuckled at that and nodded. "Gotcha. So lots of Chef Boyardee, vegetables, and dry foods? We need water too, then?"

Rin nodded slowly. "How many gallons do you think will do? I can grab the coffee, water, and batteries and stuff." His mind thought to big packs of 20 that were now sold.

Rin nodded. "I'll hop to, and meet you up front. Okay?" He would make his way to the part of the store that had the water, and then the other items he needed, if he wasn't stopped by Pietro.

::They parted, and Pietro took his shopping cart down the canned food aisle, beginning to fill it with cans of vegetables and fruits. When he finished with that, he stocked up on soup, tuna fish, and salted and preserved meats, such as beef jerky. He wheeled into the grain aisle and what little room remained in the cart was soon filled with rice, pasta, and cereals.::
