"Come on!" She screamed at John, trying to tug him with her, away from the ruckus. There was a sharp pain in her hip, but she ignored it as she continued to try and pull John away.

"I'm not going anywhere. You just get the f*ck out of here-" John replied, standing his ground. He was stubborn as hell, and wasn't about to back down, especially towards humans.

This was going too far. Typhoid's power itched at her mind, begging to be used, but she didn't. Let Pyro and the others get themselves out of the mess they had created; she would not add to it. Maintaining her shields, she turned back to Pietro. "I will stay until you can get her out of here," she said, referring to Wanda. As grenades went off, Tom's eyes went wide. He went to help Link but didn't know what to do now. "Jack, Jack is everything alright? What's going on over there?"

Jack slammed his run to a halt so fast, grit flew up from under his boot soles. At the bullet fire, he instinctively ducked, looking up to see a sudden war being raged with the flames. When grenades exploded out of nowhere, he floored himself for safety which was not ideal in the middle of a suddenly panicking crowd, who were running like scattered lambs. He heard people calling him desperately in his ear piece, and he struggled upright amongst the stampede to respond. "It's all gone f**k**g crazy!"

Danielle had put the flames out on the person and hoped that the girl would get them. Her attention now, was focused on the mutant that was causing all this now that he was in clear few. SWAT had arrived along with the police and chaos was defiantly broke lose. Taking off at the mutant she stopped short as a grenade was lunched almost hitting her. "Hey! Stop! Innocent people are getting hurt!" She yelled as started up again toward the mutant.

Aedan attempted to stop the flames that had been left from Pyro, but his concentration lapsed, and, through the pain, passed out. He fell hard to the ground.

::Pietro nearly disagreed with her, but a grenade went off nearby and his concern for Wanda made him swallow his words. He nodded, pulled Wanda into his arms, and rose to his feet.:: "I will return in no more than five minutes for you."
::With that, he peered around, found a clear path, and began to run, from the park, down the sidewalk, across the bridge and back towards the mansion. In the wink of an eye, he and Wanda were gone.::

The grenades were going off in the air, exploding and making her scream more. Giving John one last look before turning and running as fast as she could, nearly tripping over a couple people laying on the ground. She smacked straight into a girl who was shouting at John. "Run!" She shouted at her as she pushed past the girl and continued to sprint.

Link couldn't believe how chaotic it had gotten in the span of two minutes. "Drain!" she cried out, continuing to shoot at the offending officers. Which was hard to do with all of the people running around.

Danielle wasn't about to run when people were getting hurt. She rushed by the girl using her super speed now to dodge all the bullets that were seeming to go off at random now. She got hit by one skinning her shoulder. Keep going! SHe told herself as the adrenaline rush was coming at her. She made it to the mutant but flames were all round him. "Why are you doing this!?"

She couldn't hold it together anymore. There were too many people running and screaming and bumping into her for her to concentrate. Opening her eyes, she saw Link going to Drain and she struggled in the same direction. Getting closer, she roughly shoved someone out of the way and knelt down next to him.

"Because they-" John began to say, to the girl that approached him, referring to the anti-mutant humans. "-f*cking deserve it." His flames eased up slightly, apart from the ones directed towards the police, who were shooting at him.

"Get him back to the car," Jack shouted back into the mic, now running through the crowd to approach the battle between Pyro and the police. "I'm gonna try and take this nut-job out," his hand fell from his ear piece and he sprinted towards Pyro, ducking and dodging the gunfire, his hearing giving him a split second to avoid the bullets with pristine reflexes.
