From where she stood, Eden could see the police trying to controll the protest. She stayed where she was, watching everything that went on.

"That was a mistake" With this words, he simply moved away from the hater and walked into the crowd. Just a few quickly steps and he was disappeared in the crowd. The time for a fight wasn't now, but it would come very soon. He made his way through the people to the other side of the park. Here he had a better view over the whole place. Leaning against a tree and lighted up a cigar, then he looked back to the hater and shook his head. On another time and on another place, he would be a dead man.
((ok guys, I'll catch you later))

"The naive, peace loving people?" she asked, watching in disgust as the police attempted to 'keep the peace'.

Danielle was alarmed when she saw police coming their way. "Oh great" she mum mered under her breathe. Stepping away from the religious man she stood by the silver haired mutant. "Nice shot" she whispered to him.

"I'll show you a blight on society," she raged, glaring at the man behind the police officer. She wasn't worried about the policemen who had come to break it up, but they were messing with the wrong people. The person that should be arrested was that bigot behind them, neither her nor Pietro deserved it.

Dia spotted John pushing his way through the crowd, and even though she hated to admit it, being with John was a much better than being by herself. "John!" She called as loudly as she could over the shouts of the protesters around her. Still, the chances that he would hear or, or acknowledge her were low.

"Police only make it worse," Dasha commented. "If they side with mutants, the humans get mad. They side with humans, mutants get pissed off. And with this kind of thing, there won't be an inbetween."

John heard his name being called through the crowd, though he wasn't exactly sure what he heard was right. He looked around, trying to spot anyone familiar that could of said his name. Then, a few feet away he saw the familiar blond head of Dia. He then began to make his way over towards her. John hadn't spoken to Dia since their argument in the hallway, and he had no clue if Rogue had talked to her recently or not. "So you decided to come join the fun?" He asked with a smirk, once he was closer towards her.

((OOC: I know, and thank you for the reiteration.))
::Pietro stepped back when the police arrived. The protester still spewed his acidic hate-speech, but he had released Wanda's arm, which was all Pietro cared about. He remained enraged, but they had given a warning, and he was not going to squander it so that Wanda or he spent the night in a jail cell. It was not often he reacted reasonably in face of his anger, but the stakes, at the moment, were too high. He moved closer to his sister, taking her hand in his. He turned to the police officer, nodded once acknowledging the warning, though he would not apologize to the bigot for possibly breaking his nose.:: "That won't be necessary; we were just leaving."

"Yeah," She gave a laugh, making up her mind that if John didn't mention their last argument, neither would she. "This is freaking insane! I didn't realize it would be this big."

Tom watched the growing crowd, shaking his head at the commotion. "I wonder who started this protest anyway"

She nodded in agreement with Pietro's response, and held his hand tightly with her own. She was ready to get away, at least from this bible-thumping bigot. "Come on, Pietro," she urged, pulling him slightly towards the other end of the rally.

"Well, that seems to have calmed down," said Jack as he surveyed the scrap that had been broken up. "It won't be the last though."

"Bigger the better-" John commented, excitement running through his veins as he gripped his lighter tighter, just in case. His thoughts drifted to all the protests, when the cure had been first introduced, and how he had been sent to life the cure centers on fire. The same feeling he had been feeling now, was running through him now. "I'm just waiting for one of those f*cking protesters to throw a punch towards me so I can burn his sorry ass-"

::The protester, realizing that the police would just let the mutants leave unpunished, muttered a comment about "mutant lovers," but walked away angry. Though his church would post his bail, he would not get arrested here when the mutants would walk away free. So he turned away, picked up the sign he had dropped earlier in the fray, and went back to where he had been standing when he first caught their attention.::
