"Oh," Morph nodded, "then, I guess, teaching isn't an unfamiliar territory for you."
He glanced at her plate and noticed that she was finished with her food, just as he was. "Are you going to order the dessert?" he asked.

"I think I'll pass," Morph said. He looked around and, noticing the waiter, signed for him to get the bill.

Brady glanced up as the waiter came over with the bill and once again paid close attention to the table.

Morph paid for the dinner and got up as soon as the waiter left. He waited for Brady and they left the restaurant. Stepping outside, he glanced up and down the street, as if choosing the way to go next. "You wanna go see some movie?" he asked Brady.

Brady smiled at him and nodded, "Sure, tha-" A ringing interrupted her and she sighed as she opened her handbag and grabbed her cell phone. Seeing who was calling, her smile decreased. She looked to Kevin, "One second I have to take this." She told him with an apologetic look.
She flipped her phone open and answered, "Père," Her voice sounded serious, "Je suis sur une coupure. Oui, Connor est venu." Brady's voice changed a little. She sound mad and little scared, "Oui, je sais et je suis profondément désolé." Brady nodded slightly, "Au revoir." She said and stood there for a moment before closing her phone and sticking it back in her handbag. Turning around she smiled at Kevin, "So lets go see that movie."

Morph couldn't really shut his ears, so he just stood there, listening to her conversation. He enjoyed the sound of her French at first, and then caught the change in her tone, a small frown appearing on his face. When she ended the call and spoke to him again, he smiled back at her. "Let's go," he nodded, walking to the car.

Brady followed him to the car and once inside she looked to him, "Thank you for dinner."

"You're welcome," Morph smiled, "I would thank you for your company as well, but since you're still with me, I'll get to do it later, I guess," he turned the ignition on and pulled out to the street.

... They got to a movie theater some fifteen minutes later; Morph had no idea what she would like to see but he himself didn't really care. "Will you kill me if I leave the choice to you?" he asked with a small smile as they stood studying the list of movies.

Brady laughed, "I might," She said and glanced at him before looking back to the list of movies, "There's too many. So far it's either Halloween or Becoming Jane," She looked to Kevin.
