"I don't expect anything," Brady told him, "I'm just saying that I haven't come across any danger. And if danger does cross my path..." Brady shrugged slightly, "I won't get hurt too badly."

"Have you ever done anything extreme?" Morph asked. "Like, I don't know, jumping with a parachute?" The thought that you wouldn't die probably gave lots of confidence for things like that, he thought.

Brady gave a small laugh, "I haven't jumped with a parachute. But i've cliff dived before."

The waiter came up with their orders, setting the plates in front of them.

Morph nodded at the waiter as the man left. "I wonder if there are mutant restaurants out there," he said in a lower voice, thinking of a possible place where she wouldnät have to hide her eyes.

Morph took a mental note of finding it if it did exist. He tried his food, finding that it was, indeed, very good.

Brady took a bite of her food. Her friend was right they had wonderful food, "How is yours?" Brady asked after swallowing.
