"How come other people have their death defined and I don't?" Morph asked. "How is that possible?" He knew he was probably asking questions she had no answers to, but his interest in the matter was higher than his wish to bite his tongue.

"I've been wondering about that also besides the whole fate-plan thing," Brady said, looking at him, "the only conclusion I have come up with is that maybe you changing into other people has something to do with it. And like you said nobody knows who you really are, so maybe nobody can know your death either. If that makes any sort of sense."

"Hmm," Morph nodded, "that sounds possible. Maybe I'll die looking like someone else..." Or having someone else invading my mind, he added inwardly, knowing that was a distant possibility, from the kind of experiments he'd seen at Essex's labs.
