A hotel as a place to hide

[Gambit]

Gambit caught her hand and brought it to his lips, kissing her fingers lightly.

[Shade]

Opening her eyes, Shade smiled. She moved a little and shifted, edging closer to Gambit so she could lean her head on his chest. Her naked, exhausted form was nuzzling against his now and her heart beat slowed down once more when her body relaxed completely.

[Gambit]

Bringing both arms around her, Gambit rolled them over, hovering above her. He smiled and gave her a long kiss on the lips, still feeling exhausted.

[Shade]

Shade rolled onto her back, unable and unwilling to object. Closing her eyes again, she responded to the kiss as if drawing new strength from it, then reached for him to softly push away a strand of sweaty hair before framing Gambit´s face with both her hands.

[Gambit]

Gambit looked at her with a mixture of affection and curiosity in his eyes. He kissed her on the forehead. "You're wonderful, chere," he remarked.

[Shade]

Shade caught herself thinking that she never got tired of that particular look in his eyes. It gave her a warm and cozy feeling inside and made her happy without further ado. She smiled, her thumb brushing his chin. "Thank you." she said in a low voice, knowing that her own affection had to be easy to sense for Gambit´s empathy.

[Gambit]

"Thank you," Gambit whispered, kissing her on the cheek, then unwrapped his arms from around her and got off the bed. "Shower."

[Shade]

Shade remained where she was for another two or three seconds before she found the strength and motivation to get off the bed. "Shower." she agreed holding up her hand for Gambit to reach for her.

[Gambit]

Gambit took her by the hand and pulled upwards, then grabbed her around the waist and dragged her off the bed and after him towards the shower. "An' no funny stuff," he added while they were walking.

[Shade]

Shade allowed Gambit to drag her with him. "And that from the man who attempts to eat his toothbrush and yaps at his girlfriend..." she concluded his words with a grin, but held up two fingers as if about to give an oath. "Okay, no funny stuff then."

[Gambit]

"Dat's all in de past," Gambit pointed out, "we talkin' 'bout future here, chere." He switched the shower on and stepped under it.

[Shade]

Shade feigned a little pout like a kid who had been taken away her favourite toy. "Okay then." she said, leaning next to the shower without joining him. "I´ll be nice and refrain to standing here, following my voyeristic tendencies and watch you shower." She crossed her arms and let her gaze travel up and down his body in unashamed confidence.

[Gambit]

"Fine wit' me," Gambit shrugged, then took shower gel and squeezed some on his hands and rubbed himself, starting from neck and shoulders.

[Shade]

Shade remained where she was, her head turned towards Gambit and leant against the bathroom tiles, tapping her fingers slightly. Her skin was covered with a thin layer of sweat which made her shiver slightly and apart from that, no just stand there and watch felt little like what she wanted right now. She was too exhausted for the moment for another round of sex and she also knew they didn´t have time for that anyways, but she would return to the mansion soon which meant she wanted closeness, not watching.
"Oh blast this." she chuckled after a moment, stepping opposit of him under the water and took the shower gel herself.

Gambit snickered. "Couldn' stay away from me for long, eh?"
