"What would you call it, then?" She asked, watching him over the rim of her glass as she took a sip of her drink.

"Fun?" Gambit suggested. After all, he did have lots of fun running the club and working at the bar when he felt like chatting to the patrons and mixing some drinks.

"Point taken," She said with an appreciative nod. She sipped her drink and watched the show for a few minutes. "And you'd be here with her," she added, pointing to a Wonder Woman and laughing. ::Odin turned to look at the woman in the Wonder Woman costume and he smirked again.:: "Not in a million years, but your confidence in my Superman identity is flattering."

Betsy smiled at his answer. "So much better than work," she said, "It would be my choice every time." She shifted in her seat, uncrossing and recrossing her legs.

Lance wasn't going to flirt with her too much - it could end the evening at the club rather soon and he was just having too much fun to leave so fast. And he also enjoyed the club's resident dancers high up on the platforms in their anime costumes with long hair and high boots. Whenever he looked, he was surrounded by pretty women. Why ruin this by focusing on one only?

The dancefloor was getting more and more crowded after a bit and Shade was getting thirsty. The young guy whose name she didn´t even know was still dancing somewhere near. She tapped him on the shoulder. "I´m gonna go get myself something to drink" she called out to him before snaking her way towards the bar, not sure whether he would follow her or not and not caring too much about that either.
She ordered a coke, and while waiting for the drink, spotted Gambit a bit further away, leaning against the bar in a relaxed manner, chatting to a girl with a somewhat unusual hair colour. She raised an eyebrow at that.

There was another girl staring at her, and it took her a second to realize that she was because the liked the Tron costume. Lorna gave her a friendly smile a nod back; the other woman wore a one piece robot type thing that looked really familiar but she couldn't place where it was from off the top of her head. Kevin was glad the girl at least responded with a smile; he didn't want to impose himself and try to start a conversation, which moreover wouldn't be easy over the loud show music (which was nice but he hoped it would be over soon). He had already regretted having chosen this look for the evening, though it did attract quite a few men who came over to talk, only to be politely rejected as he stood there, arms crossed on his (well, her) chest. He hadn't gone out as a woman for a long time already and wasn't too comfortable about that at the moment.

Gambit watched as the show was approaching its end. There'd be other performances during the evening, and he felt pleased at how it all had been nicely put together. He didn't notice Shade come over to the bar; if he had, he would have probably been less relaxed about it, at least being more careful in her presence.
"De show'll be over in a moment," he told the girl. "How 'bout givin' those legs a tour 'round de place?"

Deciding that he'd had his fill of the booming and blazing laser show, Michael let himself wander around the place. Bearing his usual neutral expression and a calm attitude, he walked to the adjacent hall - only to encounter none other than Lance who was heading in the opposite direction. What are the odds, he thought, his thoughts taking a quick run over the string of Lance - the Brotherhood - Maya - did Lance's presence mean anything here? He decided he didn't have to be bothered by that.

Lance followed the Wonderwoman, dragging his Predator mask along. He could use a drink, too. He passed a guy that looked familiar, did a double take - well-well, wasn't it the boyfriend of his ex-teammate. Lance made a mental note to quip about it should they run into one another here later in the evening, but for now he headed to the bar, stopping near the Wonderwoman. He placed his mask on the counter next to her. "This guy wants to drink, too," he informed her, pointing at the mask's mouth. "Do you suppose this place serves fresh blood?"

Betsy smiled and said, "Sure." She made a point of standing up slowly, then grabbed her little clutch purse and flipped her hair out of her face. She stood in front of him, waiting for him to lead the way.

::Odin turned to look at the woman in the Wonder Woman costume and he smirked again.:: "Not in a million years, but your confidence in my Superman identity is flattering." Laurie didn't know how to interpret Odin's remark, so she let it go. She sipped her drink and found herself at a loss, as per usual with Odin. Even with her new found confidence, he was a puzzle. "So are you going to stay Clark Kent all night?" She asked playfully.

Gambit enjoyed every move. As they stood up, he glanced around - noticed Shade - and pointedly lead the girl in another direction around the bar, using his skill of blending in with the crowd so that the girl would still think he was accompanying her but Shade wouldn't notice where he'd gone to.
"So what kind of entertainment are you into?" he asked as a matter of casual conversation, at the same time carefully placing his hand behind her back - not as a sexual gesture, but elegantly and lightly as if only to help her make her way through the crowd in the right direction. These little details were essential to the game and he savored them all.

Betsy was well aware of the game and skill recognized skill. She, too, was enjoying every moment of it and moved as he directed her. "I like movies... and music... and observing people," her British accent made the last phrase sound more stern and formal than it might have otherwise, and as she spoke those words, she met his eyes. She knew from experience that the combination of her rebellious purple hair, her racy choice of dress, and the formality of her accent was appealing to most men. "What about you?"

"So are you going to stay Clark Kent all night?" She asked playfully. "After another drink I'll take off the coat. Then I can be Superman," ::Odin promised her with a smirk. He would still be a Clark Kent/Superman hybrid because of the glasses, but nothing could be done about those.::
