She looked in through the windows, it seemed like a quiet place, with some understated elegance added to that. In New York, that meant it was expensive. "Are you sure?" she asked, surprised.

She held up a hand to his cheek. They'd grown close in their relationship, but despite that it still surprised her to have found someone who treated her as he did, as if she were priceless. "Thank you, love."

He'd smiled, which was such a rare occurrence that she knew he'd spent much time planning this. She withdrew her hand and took his arm again.
