::Pietro took his telephone and put it in the cup holder, should Uncle call back; his thoughts were primarily on getting her home quickly and in one piece. Additionally, the finer points of telepathic intervention were beyond his expertise.:: "He will find a way; he specializes in this."

"I know." It was abundantly clear to her after her long sessions with him. "I have another solution, but you won't like it." The idea had come to her over the past two weeks, but she was fairly sure it would be met with resistance.

::That certainly caught Pietro's attention, although as this was her life, worry might well win over his preferences.:: "Which is?"

"Call Odin." She still had his number, from before.

::It took Pietro a second to place the name. With that, he admitted that she was right; he was not fond of the idea.:: "...it is an idea."

She knew from his tone that she'd been right- he didn't like it. "Not a well received one," she said, a trace of gallows humor in her tone.

"Hold on," ::Pietro warned her, interrupting the conversation, as he quickly signaled and cut across four lanes of traffic to get a cross-street that he wanted.::

She shut her eyes and grasped the handle on the door. She trusted Pietro's driving, but still didn't do well with high speeds on the road.

::Pietro did not particularly enjoy doing that, but getting her home quickly was his highest priority. Settled on the correct street, the driving evened.:: "And it is your body, your decision."

She realized that, but that wasn't what bothered her. "I care about what you think, Pietro. And I can't keep picking and choosing what powers I don't want."

"I do not judge you," ::Pietro told her, yet again. This was becoming a common theme in their conversations of late.:: "And obviously you can, if they are not interrelated and there is someone around to do it for you."

"I know you don't. That's why I care about what you think." If he had judged her for many things she'd done in her life, they never would have lasted this long. "Not ethically, I can't."

::Pietro's eyes remained focused ahead, although he was listening.:: "Rossignol, we can talk about your Odin friend or we can talk about your powers. I need to separate the two."

She frowned in confusion. "They are separate. Odin is a friend, but if I wanted to pick and choose powers, he's also a means to an end. I don't think that's fair to him. As for powers...mutants have hard to control powers all the time. I shouldn't be any different because I know someone." It was playing Devil's advocate, partly. The rest of her wasn't so sure.

::Pietro's problem with Odin is that he did not know the man personally, could not speak for his intentions, and did not like the idea of her being indebted to someone on that level absent that knowledge. Uncle he trusted with his life; others...not as such. And if he could not trust someone with his life, how could he trust him with hers?
As for the rest of it, he asked,:: "Do you believe in fertility treatment?"
