That made her feel better, despite the fact that she liked this job. It was interesting, and certainly never dull. Wanda gave her brother a happy smile. "I like it." She knew he would know she meant the job, and the opportunity to be on stage.

"But you were going to be my agent," Wanda said, laughing. Though she knew now that it was too late for that, because Pietro was departing on his own path in law enforcement. That thought made her rather sad.

She patted his hand atop her knees, and nodded. "I appreciate that, Pietro," Wanda admitted. She had not had much confidence, even after initially getting hired by Max.

Her smile widened at that; Pietro had so much faith in her, and cared about her happiness as much as she did his. "You truly are the best, Pietro," Wanda told him.

She gave him a knowing look, since she knew how hard it was for him to accept praise. However, she would not point that out here, at her work place in front of Max, particularly because she knew he would hate to talk about personal issues at a time like this. "We can go into that later," Wanda informed him. "But I truly do appreciate the sentiment, Pietro."
