::Odin had never understood the aversion to air travel; it was convenient. Although with recent security regulations...:: "The train might be a compromise. There's a line from Kentucky to Washington D.C. and another from Washington to Manhattan."

"That'd be quite the travilin'" Paige mused with a smile, she had only been on a plane twice. Once with Warren and the other to come up here. She kind of liked it, it wasn't too long, only a few hours. Plus she got to talk to people she did not know outside of this trip and they all seemed nice. It was good to meet people that didn't know you were a Guthrie and made assumptions just by that last name. Which meant in Cumberland that you were a freak. The neighbors were less than nice. Especially the Cabot's, their family had done some rather nasty stuff to them. Threaten their family, set their barn on fire, poisoned their dog, Bonnie, and quite a few times beat up family members. Especially poor Jeb. Even with all of that happened in Paige's life, she tried to not let it get to her in a bad way, instead all of those things just made Paige feel more determined to become what she dreamed of becoming, an X-Man. Someone to protect the innocent, human and mutant a like, and take care of the bad guys.

::Odin had taken the line a few times over the past couple of years. It took a while, longer than an airplane, but it was comfortable enough.:: "It's a smooth ride; Amtrack treats their passengers better than any of the commercial airlines do."

Paige snapped out of her thoughts when Odin spoke up again, "Is it more expensive?" She asked curiously.

"Not much more than a Jet Blue flight, for the two tickets combined," ::Odin replied. The fares were comparable, and far more reasonable when compared to any other airline, which had always been expensive.:: "Less than most other plane tickets."
