TGI Friday(Closed)

[Husk]

The walk hadn't been very long, as the TGI Friday's was just a few blocks from where they had been. Paige's stomach rumbled impatiently, making Paige's cheeks go slightly red from how loud it was being. She honestly hadn't realized how hungry she was until Odin had asked if she was. Paige wasn't sure why but she kept staring at Odin for a long period of time before she realized what she was doing and looked away. Obviously that crush on him hadn't gone away quite yet, and the thought made her blush.

As they got closer to the restaurant she could smell the food and it practically made her mouth water. Looking to Odin she allowed him to walk in first and she would follow him in.

[Odin]

::Odin noticed her undue attention, but chose not to comment on it. He had gathered from her months ago that she might have a small crush on him, and he gave her no grief for it. Upon reaching the restaurant, he opened the door, as he was now in front of her, and held it open to let her enter.::

[Husk]

"Thanks." Paige said as he held the door open for her, once she moved inside she grabbed a hold of the door just long enough for her to pass before she let go. Looking around she was rather impressed by the interior, it gave a comforting atmosphere.

[Odin]

"You're welcome," ::Odin replied, as she entered. Once they were both inside, he went over to the greeting area and confirmed that they wished a table for two. The waitress took two menus and led them upstairs to one of the few unoccupied tables on the floor.::

[Husk]

Paige smiled politely at the waitress as she led them over to the stairs, following behind Odin up the stairs she thanked the waitress when she pointed them to a table.

[Odin]

::Odin waited for Husk to sit, before sitting himself. He thanked the waitress who introduced herself as "Jennifer" and took his menu.:: "I don't know how hungry you are, but they make fried macaroni and cheese."

[Husk]

"Fried macaroni and cheese?" She questioned, having never heard of this before. It sound good though.

[Odin]

"They take macaroni and cheese, form it into the size of meatballs, and deep-fry it," ::Odin explained. He had first encountered it at this restaurant, and had seen it a few other places since then.::

[Husk]

"I'm guessin' ya've tried it?" Paige asked before adding, "Is it any good?"

[Odin]

"It is," ::Odin said with a nod.::

[Husk]

"Hmm, I'll give it a try then." Paige said as she shifted in her chair. After a minute of silence to make up her decision on what she'd get, she then glanced up at Odin. "So...How's the apartment life, with Stacy?" She asked, the girl's name coming out bitterly.

[Odin]

::Odin studied the menu for a minute, deciding what he would have. When he came to his decision, he set the menu aside.:: "It's fine. She's out for the holidays on personal business."

[Husk]

Paige still didn't like the girl, with good reasons not to. "That's good." Paige said, glad Stacy was gone. "Might as well stay gone, while she's at it." Paige thought out loud, not realizing she had done so.

[Odin]

::Odin all but rolled his eyes at the comment. He knew that she and Stacy had gotten off poorly, and she was upset over it, understandably so. However, he had asked Stacy to not involve him in it, and he expected the same of Paige.:: "And how are your siblings?"

[Husk]

Paige looked over the menu briefly before looking up at him, a smiling coming to her face. "They're doin' good. I'm trying to convince my mom to come up here, but she refuses to fly. She might drive up here though." Paige said happily. She missed her mom greatly, and it made her feel a bit bad for leaving her.
