::As the silence descended upon them, Odin reached for his coffee cup and sipped. He would need the caffeine.::

Erik took the moment that Odin sipped his coffee as an opportunity to study the other man. He was certainly interesting, that was for sure.

::Odin used the opportunity to do the same. His eyes studied the older man's facial features: the lines of his face, his hair color, his expression set somewhere between severity and mild humor.::

Their eyes met, and Erik was mildly amused. They were studying each other like curious animals. "Have I met you somewhere before, Odin?" He inquired suddenly.

"No, you haven't," ::Odin said, and let his gaze drop to the other man's hands, steady around his coffee cup. They had been at Xavier's for a short period at the same time, but Odin had been in the laboratory, and they had never seen one another.::

"And yet you know who I am and what I do," Erik said knowingly.

::Odin was almost disappointed. Magneto should know how famous he was, both idolized and demonized by many, and he expected more of the man in terms of observation. Odin had revealed his powers, and that combined with Magneto's notoriety should be enough to form a deduction.:: "You have a long reputation."

"If you opposed what I did, you would not have let our conversation to continue thus far, let alone letting me sit at your table," He continued, as though the other man had not spoken at all.

::Odin adjusted the glasses on his nose with his index finger. The fact of the matter was that he did take offense to some of Magneto's actions, particularly those involving the boy Leech, and then the Brotherhood's behavior this past year. He also responded to charismatic personalities, which was a failing on his part.:: "If this is a recruitment speech, you can save time and not mention it."

Erik snorted. "I also see that you don't mince words. No, I'm not trying to recruit you; you don't seem to be interested in the fight." Odin seemed to be more of a spectator.

"I'm not," ::Odin confirmed, before sipping his coffee again. He had never been a fighter, and any delusions he may have suffered otherwise had been permanently extricated by Laudine Piercefield a year and a half prior.::

Erik nodded. "Are you a reporter?" He asked for the first time since seeing the article up on the laptop.

::Although Odin was not above taking advantage of the press passes that Morph had secured, he was not a reporter. Golem and Morph handled that, and he filled in articles where he could. Otherwise, his realms were more business-oriented.:: "Not technically, no."

"What do you write for?" He asked. It was interesting, and an amusing thought that this seemed like an interview.

::This, too, was beyond Odin's control, and his face was on the back of the magazine as it was...:: "I write for X-Factor Magazine."
