Kitty took his hand and looked into his eyes, she could barely believe all of this, it was too good to be true. "I'd love to, Mr. Ramsey." She said, returning the napkin to the table and standing.

He stood, smirking, and swept her onto the dance floor and into his arms. He wasn't that great of a dancer, but it seemed like the kind of romantic thing he should do; though he hadn't had much practice in the art of romance, he had read a few books on the subject. There was something to be said for the greats: They knew how to make a girl smile. And, at this moment, that's all Doug really wanted from Kitty.

Kitty didn't know much about dancing, and was worried about moving around in those heels, but she wanted the picture perfect date and didn't want to disappoint Doug. She laced her fingers together behind his neck and looked up at him. The heels added to her height but he still had a few inches on her.

Doug smiled down at her. "So, gatita," he said. "How does it feel to reach my chin?"

"Oh, so romantic." Kitty said jokingly.

Doug chuckled. "How about this, then?" he asked. leaning his head down to touch his forehead to hers. His blue eyes smoldered as he gazed into hers, his face becoming completely serious. So softly she would have to strain to hear, he murmured, "Lei รจ bello, il piccolo gatto." Then, before she could react, he leaned down further to kiss her lips.

Kitty was completely overwhelmed, her knees actually weak. This stuff doesn't happen in real life. She told herself, but all the same, it was happening. She pulled him closer to her as he kissed her.

He kissed her slow and gentle; once again, he didn't want her to get spooked. His skin tingled whenever and wherever she touched. It felt like fire shooting through his lips and rocketing down his body, warming him. His own, personal fire sparker.
After several seconds, that felt like moments to him, he let her go, sensing the need for them both to breathe. He chuckled, breathless. "You are amazing, you know that?"

Kitty giggled, her face flushed with emotion. "You're not so bad yourself." She said, trying to sound normal, but her heart was racing. In less than twenty four hours, she felt like her world had been turned up side down, but maybe that was what she needed. She couldn't take her eyes away from Doug's.

"So," he grinned, "do I dazzle you, then?" His smile was teasing, but he was slightly curious as to her answer.

"To be honest, I'm completely blown away, Dougie. You can consider me officially swept off my feet." Kitty said, smiling, and she wasn't kidding. She felt goofy around him and he continued to impress her. She rested her head on his shoulder, or as close as she could reach, turning so her cheek rested on his shirt.

Resting his chin on top of her head, he smiled and stroked her back. "Good," he murmured. "You deserve it." What he really wanted to say was that she deserved to be taken care of, but he wasn't sure how well she would take that; and, to be quite frank, he wasn't ready for the night to end just yet.

Kitty didn't know what to say, so she just continued to sway to the music. She realized she could feel his heartbeat and she felt like she might cry. After a long moment, she said simply, "Thank you, Dougie."

"You're welcome, gatita," he murmured back. He smiled.

Without lifting her head, she said to him, "Is our food there yet?"
