Running Into People(Closed)

Paige, however, did smile, and she did so brightly. "Don't worry about it." She said as she leaned back in the chair, arms wrapped around herself. "So did you have any plans today?"

[Odin]

"None," ::Odin admitted almost ruefully. He had no work, his research was only half-hearted, and his apartment was empty. Truly, he had no plans.::

[Husk]

"Oh." Paige said before clearing her throat, "Would you want to do something?" She questioned. It had been a while since they had hung out.

[Odin]

::Odin's eyes met hers; she was always the one to propose activities, but he had yet to turn one down.:: "What did you have in mind?"

[Husk]

Paige shrugged her shoulders, she hadn't really thought of anything just yet. "Any ideas?"

[Odin]

::That was the question. Odin's social activities tended to remain limited to conversation and recreational bar visits. He'd paid no attention to what was playing in movie theatres recently, and Broadway was out of the question at this time of day, this close to Christmas, and with no advanced purchase tickets. It was too cold for doing any outdoor activities: going for walks or to a park, and not that he knew of any sport facilities, but he had no interest in that. Shopping would be crowded for the holiday rush, and they were already in a book store...

He could always invite her back to the apartment, since Stacy was out of town, but that didn't answer what they would do once there. He remained an appalling cook, and his food supplies were tailored to that. Food on his mind now, that was always a default, and would give them additional time to think of something else.:: "Are you hungry?"

Paige ran her fingers through her blonde locks while she waited for Odin's suggestions. Her nose wrinkled as she felt a sneeze coming on, quickly covering her hands over her nose and mouth she sneezed loudly, her face going red immediately. She hated sneezing in public, it made her feel embarrassed for some reason. At hearing his questions he took her hands away from her face, "Starvin', actually." Paige admitted before clearing her throat, she supposed she hadn't stayed outside for that long when making the snowman with Melody as she was rather sure she was getting a cold now.

[Odin]

::Odin's hand immediately went to his pocket at the sneeze, and he pulled out half a travel-sized package of tissues, which he held out to her. Constantly needing to clean his glasses left him prepared.:: "We could go get a late lunch."

[Husk]

"Oh thanks." Paige said before taking one of the tissues and wiping her nose. "Where would you like to go?" She asked as she crumpled up the tissue, waiting for them to get up to throw it away.

[Odin]

"What do you feel like eating?" ::It was rare that a question could be answered with another question, but Odin had learned that clarification provided a loophole.::

[Husk]

"Not sure, I'm up for anything." Paige said honestly before clearing her throat again. "Mel and I were outside for hours yesterday." She explained to him. "Have ya ever built a snowman before?" She asked curiously.

[Odin]

::Odin began thinking of restaurants in the area for them to visit, and which ones would be less crowded. At her question, he nodded slightly.:: "Once or twice."

[Husk]

"They're fun to make." Paige said with a small laugh. "So, any ideas on where we should go to eat?" She asked after a minute.

[Odin]

"There's a TGI Friday not too far from here," ::Odin suggested after a moment. It was close, the menu had enough variety, and they would be allowed to linger.::

[Husk]

"That sounds nice, haven't been there before." Paige said before moving to stand up, "Ready to go?" She asked.
