"Oh, I think I've seen Dr. McCoy on the news. The big blue guy, right?" Betsy was trying to process all of this new information and she was starting to see how different her life was getting ready to become. She had seen different things about mutants on the news, but never quite trusted what the media told her.

She chuckled. "Yes, he is. He's also a very good doctor for mutant patients."

"Yet another thing I never thought of," Betsy mused, "I guess when mutants get sick or hurt a regular doctor may not be qualified, huh?" Laughing, she added, "I have a lot to learn." A chill breeze ruffled her hair and she shivered. Without thinking, she pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

She shrugged. They were things people didn't normally think about. "Would you like to go inside? It's rather cold out here," she suggested. She didn't know how long that telekinetic field could hold, and whether it staved off the coldness in her soggy shoes.

Betsy laughed. "Yeah, I think I'd better go inside. It's really cold out here." She unfolded her legs and set herself back on the ground. "I'm really hungry. What's the policy on the kitchen here?"

She smiled. "It's pretty much a free for all, really. Have you been there yet?"

"No, I haven't." Looking toward the mansion, she added, "I'm not even really sure where it is."
Betsy took a deep breath, still gazing at the massive structure. Home. She thought to herself, still trying to wrap her mind around it. The thought comforted her and she smiled. "It must take forever to learn your way around this place. I'll probably spend the next few weeks completely lost."

"You might, and you might not," she said, shrugging. "Follow me, I'll show you where it is," she said. And with that, turned and began heading back towards the side door.

Betsy laughed as she followed Mystique, the snow quickly soaking through her shoes, which had partially dried during their conversation.
