Her brow furrowed. "There is an antidote for the Cure, isn't there?" There was information on it, she knew, but she'd never looked into it, since there didn't seem to be a need to.

::Pietro shook his head slightly. Technically, it existed, but practically it was worthless. Wanda had not responded to any of Hank's treatments.:: "She is allergic."

Ty sighed; there was always some problem, it seemed, to the solutions people came up with for the Cure. "Is there anything else anyone can do? Xavier...?"

::As far as Pietro knew, there was little Uncle could do medically that Hank could not. And unless Wanda wanted the ache of not having powers dulled...nothing would come of that. Which is how he had settled on this new option.:: "We are contemplating Herald."

"The cult leader?" His questions about the rosary made sense now.

::Pietro nodded slightly. He did not believe the religious aspects, but what he had seen...it was a slim possibility.:: "It might work."

"Is he some sort of...mutant anti-Cure or something?" she asked. From the way Pietro acted, that's what it sounded like.

"I don't know what he is," ::Pietro admitted. That was true; he knew nothing of this man apart from news reports, a book, and what little he had seen himself.:: "But he helps with powers."

She shook her head with misgiving. "Is this something you've mentioned to Wanda yet?"

"Of course," ::Pietro said, indignation in his tone. He would not have used the plural to describe their thoughts without informing his sister.::

She shot him a look; the tone was not necessary. "I just don't like the idea of someone playing games with people's powers. Particularly people I care for." She took a breath. "You saw what he does, then?"

::Pietro nodded in response to her statement and her question. That was the reason he would insist upon testing for her.:: "He touches a person and their powers break through."

Ty had little response to that, but to frown in thought. A person like that, as leader of a group, would possess an awful amount of power over them, particularly if he would deny them his services based on whatever rules he chose. It wasn't a concept she liked or agreed with.

"I don't like it either," ::Pietro said, her silence spoke volumes to him. There was great potential for matters to go awry, which is why he would bear it first. Still, if it would help Wanda, she had always been his weakness.:: "Rossignol, she is listless."

She made a frustrated noise; Wanda was in pain, and she understood why, as much as she understood why Pietro wanted so much to help her and his frustration and anger that he couldn't. That didn't take away the fact that taking such a course was too unsafe to subject someone to, someone who was by all accounts now merely human. "If you go again, I should go with you."
