"Not really a matter of embarrassing myself," he said with an idle shrug. "Some thoughts you keep in your head. Unless a telepath feels like prying." That really was one of Logan's peeves. He wanted his thoughts to stay in his head and remain that way.

She raised her hand in a "scout's honor" gesture. "No telepathy here."

"Then I guess the thoughts are stayin' in my head, huh?" Logan responded as he smirked further. He moved his eyes from her, looking out over the grounds. The temperature was begining to be noticed now, despite how used he was to cold conditions.

"Depends on if you want it to." The cold didn't affect Storm- her powers gave her some protection from it. "And while you're making up your mind, going inside is going to be a good idea. There will be snow falling in a minute or so. And a lot of it."

Logan raised an eyebrow at her words, looking skyward once more. "Is that your own way of tellin' me to go away?"

"No. It's my own way of telling you we should BOTH go inside," she said, tilting her head towards the direction of the mansion. "Unless you feel like being buried in snow." That was said with an amused smirk, as she imagined Logan lying on the ground covered in snow up to the neck.

"Not today," he considered wryly as his head lowered again. Taking heed of her words, he turned on his heel to begin progressing across the lawn and back towards the doorway.

Storm turned on a heel and followed him, not much feeling like getting snowed on herself, for all her resistance to it.

Stepping back inside the warmer corridor, Logan had shook the worst of the snow off his boots. Once Ororo had entered, he closed the doors behind her as to keep the warmth in and the cold out. "How long is that going to keep up for then?" he asked as he watched the dark sky through the glass panes in the door.

"A few hours, maybe. It won't last long," Storm replied, dusting snow off her shoulders.

Logan nodded slightly, not too bothered about the snow that dotted his hair and shoulders. It'd melt eventually and he didn't mind the snow.

"What are you planning for Christmas, Logan?" Storm asked, curious. "Besides brooding. We know you do that well."

Logan raised an eyebrow as he looked towards her. "What makes you think I'm even planning anything?"

"I'd hope you have a plan of SOME sort," she said, returning the look.

There was a small smirk at this. "Sitting around, doing nothing and avoiding all the festive cheer?"
