Ororo stood in the grounds just beyond the edge of the Mansion, staring outwards, looking lost in thought but in fact lost in the snow storm that was developing in the sky.

It had been a few days since Logan had spoken to the Professor in regards to the recent events and he had confirmed that he would be staying around for now. With the classes still off to make way for the coming school trip, Logan spent his time exploring the mansion, despite it having barely changed since he was last here. He just wanted to further acclimatise himself to his new territory once again. A few had said short greetings in regards to his return, but not many could hold a conversation with Logan for long.
Reaching the double doors, his wanderings took him outside and over the patio, where his eyes picked up a shock of ivory hair out on the grounds. Noticing that Ororo was looking skyward, he followed her direction, noticing the forming snow clouds above. Setting off walking again, he crossed the lawn, not minding the bitter snap despite only wearing a thin shirt and jeans. He was too used to Canadian weather to bother with a cold spell and didn't even bother to loosen down the shirt arms he had rolled up to his elbows.
"Changin' the forecast?" he enquired once he was a short distance behind her. He wasn't close enough to make her jump, nor far enough away to be missed. He had a good perception of a person's natural space and what made them uncomfortable.

"If you'd been paying attention, Logan," Ororo said smoothly, not missing a beat, "you'd have figured that out already."

"Maybe my mind was elsewhere," he replied indifferently as he looked skyward again to watch the snow storm develop. He could feel it growing colder as he stood there, and slid his hands into his jean pockets.

"Elsewhere?" Ororo's eyes whitened. It was difficult, manipulating the thermals so that the supercooled air didn't go where it wasn't supposed to.

"Elsewhere," Logan confirmed simply, his eyes dropping from the sky and towards Ororo. "What about you?" he asked, by way of questioning her general wellbeing since he last saw her.

She smirked, still staring skyward. Normally, building a storm didn't take this long, but this one was meant to balance out an imbalance elsewhere, and it required being delicate. "Buried in schoolbooks, where else would I be?"

"Riveting," he commented rather dryly, head turning to allow his gaze to follow out across the span of the grounds. "Is that your high point of the week?"

That made her turn around and stare at him, whipping up a gust of wind strong enough to blow him backwards a bit. "No, THAT was."

"Oi!" Logan sounded as he stumbled back a step or two. He gave her a surly expression once his balance had been righted and he looked less ruffled.

Storm chuckled, cracking a half-smile. "You can cut the head off a holographic Sentinel and a little WIND bothers you?"

"I was unprepared," came his response, eyeing the back of her head as he heard her chuckling.

"Uh huh," she teased lightly. "Excuses, excuses."

"Startin' somethin', are we 'Ro?" Logan wondered idly, tone slightly playful, but his point still existing.

"Maybe." She would have looked at him, but her eyes were still focused on the weather...though the clouds receded a bit, all of a sudden.
