Mutant in Time Square(Closed)

[Everyone Else]

"Tranq her," ::The Lieutenant said into the radio on his shoulder. He had to maneuver carefully, as the claws would pierce him. Fortunately, he had taken more than his fair share of combat training and began to wriggle away quickly, particularly wary of the claws near his temple.

On his command, three officers with tranquilizer guns fired at her, although their aim was less than perfect; they didn't want to hit their commander.::

Another growl came from the woman when the mutant avoided her. She was definitely going to try harder with him, but when Laura heard the order given, she decided to go after the other officers instead of dealing with the mutant. As the tranquilizer darts came flying at her, she went to bounce most of them off her claws but a few of them hit. One hitting her right above her collarbone and one in her right side. They did little to her due to her healing factor, just made her a little dizzy. Laura went at one of the officers with the tranquilizer gun aiming for his chest with her left set of claws as she guarded with the other.

[Everyone Else]

::The Lieutenant realized quite quickly that this was no ordinary mutant. Drugs might not work, which meant they had their work ahead of them. Tazers might do the trick.

The officer she attacked went down easily; it happened when one had adamantium claws cut through his internal organs.::

Laura ripped her claws out of the officer barring her teeth. As the officer fell to the ground she attacked the next one aiming her right set of claws at their jugular to quickly server the neck. They had no idea what they were getting into but Laura didn't care, she did what she was told.

[Everyone Else]

::The second officer lost his head, literally, within seconds. Another of the officers realized the threat she posed, and shot two rounds in her direction.::

Dodging one of the rounds, the other hit her shoulder as she tackled him aiming both sets of claws to his head to push all the way in causing death almost instantly. Her arms would form a sort of x and her claws would go out of either side with the amount of force she was applying.

[Everyone Else]

::The officer's body split open from the pressure she exerted. This had to end. The Lieutenant ordered one of his officers to slug him; they had worked together before and he knew what it would cause. He complied, and the Lieutenant felt the energy grow inside him. Aiming his hands at her, he fired a blast of energy towards her to knock her backwards.::

In the moment it took Laura to extract her claws from the dead body she had just enough time to look up before getting slammed by the energy blast. She held in a breath as Laura was pushed back on her back a few feet. She used her claws to slow herself down and to stop. Letting out the breath her eyes narrowed looking at the mutant. The blast hurt and singed her clothes some. Some of her skin had burned off causing her to bleed but the wounds healed in seconds as she stood. Clenching her hands into fists, claws still extended, she pulled her arms back ready to charge the mutant. Laura aimed her claws for his chest as she ran at him again. She hated the fact that he had actually hurt her.

[Everyone Else]

"Keep it coming," ::The Lieutenant said to his officer. Another joined, both punching him in the sides. He ordered them back as she began to run at him, and he fired another bolt of energy. As long as he kept her claws away from him, he would be fine, and if they could arrest her, all would be well.::

This time Laura saw the blast and was able to avoid it...for the most part. She caught part of it in her right side pushing her right side back a little, but she ignored the pain she was feeling as she had been taught. Part of her face had been burned but it quickly healed like the rest of her. It was going to take a lot more then that. Laura was inches away from the mutant now and raised her claws to slash into him. To stop him.

[Everyone Else]

::The Lieutenant felt her claws slash into her side, and he shoved her roughly. Those claws were nothing to be fooled with, and he needed to minimize damage. While she was on him, another officer shot at her again.::

She stumbled slightly but only slightly whe he pushed her and she pulled her claws out in the process. Laura turned her body a certain degree to kill the officer shooting at her as his ammo hit her side again while trying to stab the mutant again with her other set of claws.

[Everyone Else]

::The Lieutenant was only able to dodge partially from the claws, and felt them pierce his side. It was extremely painful, and he s ent out another energy blast to try and get her off him.::

Laura was able to dodge the blast completely this time knowing his actions for when he was going to attack. She removed her claws again has he attacked moving behind him to stab into his spine and to avoid his energy blast. If your not able to kill the mutant evade and head to extraction point She didn't want to evade she wanted to kill him. She wanted to watch him bleed to death.

[Everyone Else]

::One of the sergeants called in for medical backup when the Lieutenant was stabbed in the spine. He was unsure how deep the wound was, but they needed him. The medical personnel responded that they were on their way, and the sergeant when running to the Lieutenants side to apply first aid.

Another of the officers, particularly upset now, began firing round after round at Laura. The civilians had long since run and hid from the entire affair, leaving the area empty of possible collateral damage.::
