((OOC: Please do not worry about it; the post was just fine. Sleep well.))
"I need to take fingerprints," ::Odin explained to her. That was to begin; he also required certain medical information and educational ones as well. The standard background check.::

Paige's jaw clenched, feeling even more humiliated by the minute. She was still on the table, her leg now in a splint. She kept saying to herself that she should've fought better in the alleyway, though he cheated by using a tranquilizer. She decided to try something, in hopes that he would feel bad and let her go, "Please, Odin. Please don't do this." It was hard for her to beg, but there was no tone to her voice that made it sound like it was hard for her to do.

::Her tone, more than the words, struck a chord with Odin, reached something that had been suppressed with a stready regiment of drugs and structured orders from the Bureau. It struck him to his core to have made another mutant, a friend of his, use such a tone with him; it was wrong, he knew that, and he began to blink, as though clearing his head. He couldn't let her go, and yet...::

Paige knew she had made him re-think letting her go, at least she hoped so. "Please?" She begged again, hoping she looked pitiful enough.

::Odin was silent for many long minutes, attempting to weigh his budding moral desires against his training and the drugs which flowed through his veins. After nearly five minutes passed, he camed to his conclusion, and reached for the room's telephone.:: "I'm calling you an ambulance."

Paige almost let out a sigh of relief, but didn't. There was still the tiny chance that he would try and get her to register again. "Thank you." She said quietly as she looked at him, though she didn't smile.

"You're welcome," ::Odin replied before dialing the hospital's number. He made the call, explaining that there was an instance of broken bones and they were in need of an ambulance. When finished, he thanked the medic and ended the call.:: "They'll be here in ten minutes."

Paige didn't move in an inch, afraid that it would just hurt more to do so. So instead she stayed where she was, watching him as he spoke on the phone. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, they quickly snapped open when he told her that they'd be here in ten minutes. "Won't they recognize what this place is?" She questioned.

"I'm sure they well," ::Odin replied with the tonal equivalent of a shrug. He'd called for ambulances before to take the registered away after a violent outbreak.:: "This is a government satellite office, Paige. Enforced registration is legal, you know."

"You're still not getting anything out of me." Paige said stubbornly.

"We could keep that up all day, but your ambulance will cut it short," ::Odin replied, which was an acknowledgment of that. Her pleas had reached him, and although he wouldn't recover fully, and come the next day would fall into his same conditioned patterns, for today, he would let her go.::

Paige sighed, closing her eyes briefly as she tried to ignore the pain. She just wished he would knock her unconscious, or that she was in coma right now, just to get away from this pain on her side and leg.

"They'll be able to give you something strong," ::Odin assured her. He walked around the table to reach her arms, and with the key he kept in his pocket, unlocked her handcuffs.:: "You won't feel a thing."

Paige opened her eyes to look at him wearily, was he able to read her mind or was she just that obvious? She was curious as to why he unlocked her handcuffs, she doubted he actually trusted her. Most likely it was because he knew that she wouldn't be able to do anything right now. "You can still get out, you know." Paige said quietly, not moving her head to look at him.

::Odin locked the handcuffs, such that they couldn't accidentally lock something in, and placed them in one of his many cargo pockets.:: "Out of this room? Probably, although you're not going to chase me, and I shan't chase you."
