"Going against all you used to believe in, isn't all that bad?" She asked bitterly as she tried to move away from him, but found herself unable to do so. Her whole right side of her body hurt, as that was the side she had landed on.

"It's paperwork, like registering political affiliation," ::Odin defended, just as he'd been taught. She tried to move and he shook his head.:: "I know a few things about broken bones; moving it will make it worse."

"It's none of anyone's business." Paige said bitterly through clenched teeth, looking at him as he shook his head made her scowl at him in response. However, she stayed quiet for now.

"I disagree," ::Odin replied simply. Reaching out, he touched her leg, feeling to see if the bones were injured.::

Paige inhaled sharply, trying to keep from crying out in pain as he touched her leg. She had told him to leave her alone and not touch her. Now though, she was putting all of her stubbornness aside because the pain was becoming way too intense. Though she was still on high alert.

::Right after she cried, Odin felt the break, causing a small lump in her leg. The splint and bandages would have to do, until they finished and he called an ambulance. Taking the splint, he lined it up against her leg.:: "If I set this right, you'll be fine."

Paige tried not to say anything as she felt him line the splint against her leg. She had been trying not to scream in pain, and in turn tears began to fall down her face from the pain. Why did she have to be such an idiot some times? "I doubt that" She thought to herself bitterly.

::Odin's sympathy with the plight of mutants couldn't be snuffed out completely, which was why he truly did regret this. Fortunately, the injury was fresh, rather than a few days old, which meant he wouldn't need to break it a second time before setting it. Once the splint was aligned, he began wrapping it with bandages. If only he'd been given the same consideration, when he'd been in her position...he wouldn't have a limp.:: "When we're through here, I'll call you an ambulance."

If Paige could've crawled her way out of here, she would right now. She really didn't want to be here, and was desperate to get out of here with the little pride she had left. "We are done." She told him through gritted teeth.

"We're not," ::Odin replied, ever pragmatic. Neither of them had gotten what they wished, which meant there was work afoot. Once finished wrapping the bandages, he tied them off.::

Paige looked to Odin as he spoke, a scowl on her features. She wondered if he'd be decent and give her something for the pain, even though she really shouldn't even trust him right now. Her wrist were starting to hurt from the cuffs on them, and it just added to her pain.

::Despite his own medicative state, Odin retained his perceptive skills, and commented.:: "I don't think you'd trust me if I gave you any medication."

"You'd probably just knock me out again." Paige said bitterly, though she wished he would right now.

"You see my dilemma," ::Odin continued. He kept pain pills in his pocket, because of his own lingering torture experience, but that didn't meant she would trust him.:: "I won't shove them down your throat, and I can't take off those handcuffs until we finish your registration."

"You know everything about me." Paige growled out at him, they had once been friends, and there really hadn't been much that she had kept from him. Surely he had the information he'd need. ((Sorry that was so short. I'm rather tired.))
