::Odin's attention drifted between her and the files open before him.:: "You aren't in a position to make demands."

"Maybe I'm not." Paige said slowly before she quickly pushed the chair back and got up, almost losing her balance as she did, because she didn't have much use of her hands at the moment. Paige then moved back enough before running forward and jumped up in attempt to do a flying side kick over the table and aimed for his head.

::There was no way for Odin to catch her whilst she was air-borne, and thus he took the logical action: he pushed back. Her leg couldn't reach him and now she was all the more physically closer to him. Already pushed back from the table, he stood.:: "That was foolish, Paige. Very foolish."

Paige found it difficult to keep herself balanced, mostly because her hands were behind her, and as such fell onto the table, on her side in mid-flight. She couldn't help the cry of pain that left her lips as she felt her side crush against the table. She wasn't sure if she broke any bones, but it hurt like hell. She ignored Odin as he spoke as she tried to ignore the pain that ran throughout her body. She felt humiliated as well.

::There was a medical kit which existed primarily for the agents to treat themselves after a violent encounter. Odin, however, still had a sense of compassion about him, minimized as it had become, and he reached for it to treat her.:: "Let's hope you haven't broken anything."

Clenching her eyes closed tightly, Paige tried not to breathe too deeply, as it seemed to hurt her side even more so. At the sound of foot steps, Paige opened her eyes to see Odin moving to get something, a first-aid kit? She was rather surprised to see that he would actually try and help her. Being the stubborn person she had always been, she said through gritted teeth, "Don't touch me."

::Odin set the first aid kit down on the chair that he'd been using to sit. With one hand, he opened it and began to look for a splint and bandages.:: "Do you want broken bones to set incorrectly?"

Paige turned her head just enough to see him, a scowl on her features at the moment. "Why do you care?" She spat out in anger.

::The question appeared to get to Odin, as his gaze became glassy for a moment, caught in a memory. A blink and he cleared it.:: "If they don't set properly, you won't be able to move right again."

"What," Paige stopped for a minute, trying to see if the pain would stop. Which it didn't, so she tried to continue with what she was going to say anyway. "Why do you care?" She repeated, her tone harsher as the pain became more intense.

::This begged the question of how many drugs Odin had been subjected to. His eyes sought that same place while taking out the bandages and measuring them.:: "I told you; I don't want to hurt you."

"Then why would you bring me here?" She asked, her tone not as harsh this time as she continued to look at him.

::Odin paused, the bandages in his hand. Bringing her here hadn't been his choice.::" It's my job."

"You keep saying that, but why would you choose this to be your career?" She asked, trying not to speak to loud, she wasn't sure if he even heard her. She was pretty sure she broke her arm, having landed most of her weight on it, but she would suffer through it, if that meant she'd be able to find a way out of here.

::The simple fact of the matter was that Odin hadn't made the choice; it had been thrust upon him by Trask. However, the drugs, besides dictating his behavior and keeping him compliant, prevented him from speaking of that point. Bandages in hand, he approached her and reached to check her leg first.:: "I know it's a far cry from working at a magazine, but it's not so bad."
