Hunting His Own Kind

Paige stared at him as he spoke, it was then she noticed his nose, and she couldn't help but smirk. When he told her that they could basically do this the easy way, or the hard way, she looked to him with no expression on her face. "I dare you to try and get anything out of me." Paige challenged, even though he knew her powers, and now had them, she wasn't about to give him anything he wanted.

[Odin]

::Odin spread his hands in a gesture of helplessness, to convey that his hands were tied.:: "If that's how you want it, I'll take the challenge."

[Husk]

Paige stared him in the eyes, her fury showing within them as she stared him down. Not speaking, she tried to think in her mind how she could escape without the use of her powers. It would be rather difficult, since most of her training had her powers used in them.

[Odin]

::Odin lifted his pen and studied her for a moment, before he began writing. Her name he knew, as well as her age; date of birth could be verified with birth certificate information upon taking her fingerprints. He sized her up for a height and weight approximation, as well as for her hair and eye color. Simple.:: "Your younger sister is registered, as well as one of your brothers, but not the other two. Yet."

Paige's jaw clenched as he mentioned her siblings who had registered. They had a fall out a while back, ever since Melody registered, she felt betrayed by her own family. "You'll leave them alone." Paige said in a furious tone as he mentioned her other siblings, who had yet to to register.

[Odin]

"If they aren't in my jurisdiction, I will," ::Odin replied simply. That would be left to another branch of the Bureau.:: "If they are, it's my job. Surely you can understand that."

[Husk]

"No. I can't, actually." Paige said bitterly as she tried to squeeze her wrist out of the cuffs, but to no avail... "Now let me go, or you'll regret it." Paige threatened through clenched teeth.

[Odin]

"I want to let you go, but you have to cooperate first," ::Odin told her in that same almost mechanical tone he'd used since finding her in the street earlier that day.:: "Each time you threaten me, I'm supposed to make a mark on your record, but I'd prefer not to."

[Husk]

"Oh really?" Paige asked in disbelief, an eyebrow raised. She thought he was just trying to get information out of her and was using that as a threat to do so.

[Odin]

::Odin had a certain amount of leeway when it came to how he took the information, as long as it resulted in a complete record. He wasn't at liberty to divulge confidential information, but considering this had all been flung at him during his first meeting with Trask, he considered it fair.:: "Violent thoughts or behavior indicates a higher threat level, which needs to be noted. But I know that you're not like that."

[Husk]

"Do you?" Paige questioned, anger in her tone as she looked at him. "I highly doubt that, Odin." She growled out, using his mutant name instead of his real one. She then attempted to kick him hard in the shin so that she could at least try and get out of here. Though as far as a plan, she hadn't really thought it through.

[Odin]

::The table was a few inches too long for her legs to reach Odin, and he simply sat there and shook his head to himself. In his own way, he had attempted to spare her.:: "You're frustrated and behaving irrationally."

[Husk]

Paige's jaw tightened, knowing she was screwed. She felt like she was cornered, and she hated that. "I really don't believe I am." Paige said, voice tight with frustration. She tried to think of another way out of here. Maybe if she could get up quickly enough without giving Odin much time to process that, she could try and get out of here. Though she wasn't sure how well that plan would work. She just needed to wait for the right time to do so... "Now, are you going to give me back my powers?" She asked, trying to calm down, but it was rather difficult.

[Odin]

::Odin's reply was calm and emotionless.:: "Are you going to cooperate?"

[Husk]

"Not until you give me back my powers." Paige threatened, readying herself to try and escape.
