Hunting His Own Kind

[Husk]

Paige struggled against the stranger, attempting to kick him in the groin, she pounded on his back with her fist.

[Odin]

::Odin wore a cup, out of fear for his genitals; his encounter with Laudine Piercefield two years ago had left him with that concern. The kick made contact, but only hurt mildly, rather than incapacitate him entirely. Hand around the handcuffs, he yanked them out and opened them to cuff her.::

[Husk]

Paige continued to struggle against the person, without her powers activated it was rather difficult. Though she was quite a bit stronger than she used to be, Paige really needed her powers to be activated to be at full strength. She saw the handcuffs and she began to panic, but didn't let it show. Struggling harder against the stranger, she tried to knee him hard in the chest to get him off of her.

[Odin]

::Her knee connected and knocked Odin flat on his backside, although he maintained his grip on the handcuffs. Between the blood still pouring from his nose and the dirt in the alley, he was hardly a sight to behold.:: "Stop struggling; it's the law."

[Husk]

Paige quickly got to her feet, ready to rip her skin off to something strong. However, at the sound of that familiar voice she stopped abruptly from doing so. "Odin?"

[Odin]

"Douglas," ::Odin corrected her; he went by his given human name these days. It stopped her struggling, and he was able to take the time and crawl closer, handcuffs still on.::

[Husk]

Paige couldn't believe this, she felt...betrayed. "What the hell happened to you?" She asked, not worried about using foul language these days. She noticed him come closer to her, the handcuffs in his hand, she stood in a fighting stance, ready to protect herself.

[Odin]

::For the first time since the exchange began, Odin lifted the back of his hand to his nose, which came away warm, wet, and sticky with blood; that would set poorly. With the other hand, he kept his grip on the handcuffs and continued to approach her.:: "I got a new job."

[Husk]

Paige felt cornered as he made his way towards her, jaw clenching, she contemplated about defending herself against him...He used to be her friend after all. However, if he was going to still approach her like this, she should defend herself against him. Moving forward quickly she moved her leg up to do a roundhouse kick to his hand, just to knock the cuffs out of them.

[Odin]

::The kick caused Odin to drop the handcuffs, and he sighed in frustration. He truly didn't wish to hurt her.:: "Paige, be reasonable; I don't want to get violent. Just come with me; it'll take an hour or two and you'll be free to go."

[Husk]

Paige's jaw clenched tightly again when he told her not to be violent with her, and it wouldn't take long. She knew exactly what his job was now. "No." She growled out as she moved forward to kick him in the shin.

[Odin]

::Odin sidestepped the kick, now on particular guard. If it was a full fight she wished, it was one he would give her. He rolled his sleeves up and lashed out with his leg, aiming at her stomach.:: "Come with me. You'll get your file, I'll give you your powers back, and we can put this behind you."

[Husk]

Paige wasn't ready for the kick the stomach and bent over briefly, the wind knocked out of her. Looking up at him, her eyes narrowed. "Give me back my powers, now." Paige growled out, remembering his other power, besides sensing powers.

[Odin]

::It was Odin's turn to make a denial. It was out of his hands, just as his life had been ever since Boliver Trask had entered it.:: "No."

[Husk]

Paige felt vulnerable, not having her powers to help her at all right. Standing upright, she ignored the pain in her stomach and moved to swing her fist to his temple.
