Shade gave a half protesting, half amused snort. "Aw, where´s the spirit and stuff. Declaring me winner at once and all."

"Hey!" Shade protested. "that´s mean. I was starting to feel all happy about playing that." She reached out with hand and touched the laptop with her index finger, vanishing it for a second before letting it re-appear.

"Now who's mean?" Gambit looked at Shade, seemingly irritated. "We'll jus' play, awright? I don't want to deal with any of that winner-loser stuff right now."

Shade flashed him a charming smile. "Okay." she said, edging a little closer so she could have a look at the laptop screen. She was starting to properly relax and feel better now which came as truly nice feeling after the stuff they had been through since the previous evening.

Gambit wrapped one arm around her. Most of all he was thankful that she wasn't bursting with questions about Kate and Constance and all that; his private life was private enough to be kept away even from Shade, so he was glad no questions went in that direction.

For an outside obersever this was probably a strange scene. The two of them, both with bruises, both bandaids on their necks, both in their underwear, visibly comfortable and relaxed sitting on the bed with a random computer game while the room around them with blood stains on the floor and wall was a strange contrast to that.
"You know." Shade said when Gambit started the game. "I think we should maybe rentovate a bit somewhen. The walls could need some paint job."

"Yeah," Shade said with a nod. "I already thought we would. And I couldn´t care less about that." It wasn´t the first time he went looking for another flat and quite frankly, sh wasn´t too enthusiastic about the prospect of living in the same house as Kate. She didn´t know her and couln´t judge on whether she might not get avengous thoughts."Somewhere with a nice, boring neighbourhood if I may suggest."
