Stacy accepted the tub with a murmur of thanks, but it probably wasn't heard over the sound. She ate a few pieces, watching at the television advertisements changed to trailers for upcoming movies, which certainly grabbed her attention better than the previous commercials.

::The first of the previews was for an action film in which Odin had no interest. The topic was about prisoners who had to compete in a rigged death race to win their freedom, and he rolled his eyes as it played.::

Stacy got more comfortable in her seat as she watched the trailers play, occasionally helping herself to popcorn and her milkshake and would most likely remain this way for the next few hours of the film time.

::All in all, there were five previews and only one Odin found remotely interesting. He had a soft spot for documentaries. Finally, there was the reminder not to smoke, talk, and to turn of cellular phones, and the film begin.::

As the film began, Stacy focused her attention more acutely, concentrating on the movie. She kept passing the popcorn to Odin during the film so they both had a share of it, and had occasional sips of her milkshake.

::An hour-and-a-half later, the lights resumed their shine and the film credits began to roll. Odin was in a state of contemplation; the film had been a better adaptation than he'd expected, and was far less dark than "Fight Club" had been. The sexual scenes had been graphic, however, not for a pornographic film, but a bit for a comedy. They had been light-hearted, but graphic and present nonetheless, and he sincerely hoped that Stacy had taken no offense to them.
The bucket of popcorn was empty, save a few kernel remnants, and his milkshake was long since finished. He leaned back in his chair, taking in the reactions of the other patrons, before turning to assess hers.::

Stacy had liked the film, glad they had come to see a comedy. The sexual theme ran throughout most of the movie, but the scenes hadn't really bothered her, it was something she was pretty much immune to these days, but she could've done without reading the emotional level of some of the young men in the theatre, since she really didn't want to share their feelings when sat in the middle of a cinema.
When Odin looked towards her, she gave him a smile, sitting up in her seat and letting her legs drop down since she had curled up a little to get comfortable. "Are you ready to go?" she asked when people around them began getting up to leave. She didn't realise he was wanting to know what she thought about the film.

::Her smile alleviated the abstract concern Odin had had over the content in light of the potrayal. He hadn't been sure that being reminded of sex would sit well with her, but she appeared fine. It meant he could ask about her opinion.
To her other question he nodded, and placed his empty cup in the popcorn tub.:: "I am if you are."

At that, Stacy began making her way out of their row, then descending the steps so they could return to the main floor and head on out of the screen. "Thanks for taking me out," she said as they walked together.

::Odin tucked the empty tub under his arm and rose from the chair. The theatre was mostly empty now, which gave them the ability to move at their own pace. Once on the stairs, he gave her a small smile.:: "What are friends for? Aside from designated drivers and helping you hide the contraband?"

Stacy looked towards him with a small laugh at his response before she looked down at the steps again. She walked with him out of the screen, holding the door as they returned to the cinema foyer.

::Odin walked through the door with a murmured "thank you," and they found themselves back in the long corridors leading to different screening rooms. The exit sign gave them direction, and they began that way.:: "The world's our playground; is there anything else you'd like to do this afternoon?"

"You seem to be the one with good ideas today," she replied with a grin as she looked his way. "Any suggestions?"

::The theatre was in Mid-Town, which gave them access to nearly anything they wished. Odin's expression became one of contemplation.:: "There are museums, we could go sight-seeing, or go down to the UN and see how long it takes them to throw us out."

"Sight-seeing sounds fun," she responded, for despite living in New York for the past year or so, she had never really seen any of the sights, since she had not visited the nicer areas quite so much.
