"We're done," ::Odin informed the cashier. She gave him the total, which was overpriced, but expected for a day at the cinema, and he paid. A couple of minutes later, a large tub of popcorn, and two large cups filled with milkshakes were thrust at him.::

Stacy reached forward to take hold of the popcorn, in order to help Odin carry everything, and turned to depart from the food area. "Do you think we can go to our screen now?"

::With the popcorn tub in Stacy's hands, Odin could concentrate on holding a milkshake in each hand. His ticket in his shirt pocket.:: "It's to the left."

Stacy looked around, then spotting the ticket collector on the door of the screen they intended to go into. She set off in that direction, but remained more or less in-step with Odin.

::Odin walked beside Stacy at a moderate pace; he didn't want to rush and spill milkshake over both of them. Upon reaching the ticket collector, he moved one cup between his arm and side to free a hand and take his ticket from his shirt pocket.::

Stacy watched somewhat anxiously as Odin juggled around to free his hands, but was relieved he didn't drop or spill their drinks. Once they were granted entry, she headed on inside into the cinema screen.

::With the ticket stub tucked back into his shirt pocket, Odin moved the second milkshake into his hand and followed Stacy into the screening room. It wasn't too crowded, with pockets of free seats dispersed throughout the entire room.::

"Do we have a seat number, or is it any we like?" she asked as she looked up at the seats.

"Sit anywhere you'd like," ::Odin replied. He'd only been to a couple of movie theatres over the years that had assigned seating, and those were for special events. It was hardly surprising, however, considering how little time and money she had for pleasure in her former job. If one could call it that.::

"Ok," she said, turning to begin up the steps of the aisle. She headed to an empty row not far from the back, walking along and taking the two centre-most seats.

::Odin followed behind her to the seats she chose. A little further back than he would have chosen himself, but they would be able to see and hear, which was what mattered in a movie outing. Only when she was seated did he hand her milkshake to her.::

Stacy had opted for this particular location as it granted them absolute central viewing, for both the width and height of the screen. It was a preference stemmed from her teenaged days. She thanked him when he handed her her milkshake, taking a drink from the straw before she set it in her cup holder. She offered the popcorn to him in gesture, should he want some.

::Odin sat beside her and set his drink in the cup holder to his right. When she offered the popcorn to him, he took it and set it on his knees.:: "Thank you."

As Odin helped himseld to popcorn, Stacy got comfortable in her seat, looking around at the other people sat further down.

::As it grew closer to the start time, the theatre began to fill in a bit more. Commercials for cars and television shows aired on the screen, and Odin did what he could to ignore them. It had been a sad day for audiences everywhere when commercials came to movie theatres. After taking a handful of popcorn, he offered the tub back to Stacy.::
