"Hell yes!" John agreed, as he too began to toss things to the floor as well, in attempts to make another pile. His other two piles were still burning, though slowly, they were becoming more flame, and less crap. "Wonder what would happen, if I lit something on fire, and then you supernova'd it?"

Paige could not believe that she had been dispatched to actually go on a mutant case. She was extremely excited, and a bit nervous to be honest. In any case, she had gotten ready for what she could. She heard something about it being the Brotherhood. Perfect. Just what she needed.
Now in New York City and on the street, she saw fire coming from one of the windows in a building. "Shoot." She muttered before looking around at the others. "Should I go in?" She asked, afraid to just take charge like she usually would. This was different now.

"Scientifically speaking, not a lot, I don't think," said Astral as she continued to thumb through sheets. "Though, I think it'd just put out the flame and take in the energy."

"Oh, so you're saying your powers are better than mine?" John teased, an eyebrow raised as he tossed a few more thick books to a new pile.

"Not really, you have more control over your powers," she said, still tossing papers down.

Bobby took a deep steadying breath. He wore the uniform, pulling himself in little by little. It was easier to distance himself from everything. He wasn't Bobby in it, he was Iceman. Right was always right, wrong was wrong, and the bad guys were the bad guys. Iceman didn't feel guilt over crossing with Pyro, but Bobby felt it with John. 'Don't be stupid. You're the same damn person. And now isn't the time for a self evaluation. Besides, who says John's even-'
The thought was cut short by the site of the fire. 'Of course he would be here. Just my luck.' He straightened up and plastered on a bright, plastic-fake grin. "Looks like we have us a cook-out to crash." he said with a cheer that he didn't feel, but also didn't lack.

"But if you had control of your powers, who'd win in a fight?" John continued to press the subject, with a smirk. He wasn't in much of a rush, for the Brotherhood to get in, and then out, and was instead just enjoying burning things.

::Pietro met Logan's eyes, sharing a silent glance with the man about strategy. He had his own opinions about sending children, when they were to be the "golden ones" but his opinion was constantly overridden.:: "We need to go in and stop them."

Reaching the small congregation that had gathered, Logan stopped, meeting Pietro's gaze and nodding shortly. "Do we know how many there are?" he asked the team at large.

Lance gathered all stationery he could find in several rooms into one dustbin and then tossed it around as if he were expecting to sow it. Then he completed the picture by making his powers work on every piece of furniture, breaking or disfiguring those.

Paige turned to look at Logan before looking to Pietro again. He was right, they'd obviously need to get in there and stop them. "Last time we got into a fight, there were four of them, wasn't there?" She questioned, trying to remember.

"How am I suppose to know?" she said as she tossed more papers down, then looking to John with a grin. "Ready?" she asked, giving him a chance to prepare for that pile too was burnt out with a small supernova.

"I'm giving you a chance to make up for the whole 'dumb blond' persona here. And you are failing." John informed Astral, trying to keep his face serious, though quickly a smile broke out. "Yeah, ready." He then agreed, with a short nod.

She tutted at John. "You're asking me to explain the workings of the universe. I'm not a NASA scientist," she argued before she turned to set the pile alight with the burst of energy.

::Pietro hadn't been at the rally where the Brotherhood had made their last appearance, but his primary concern was Magneto. Uncle had not known details, and so they had been warned for a "small group.":: "Four, Paige? With their ringleader, or with the firestarter acting as leader?"
