Had he been a telepath, he would probably have gotten a very interesting insight into the relationship between she and Pietro, but fortunately for her, he wasn't. "I don't even think it's about living together or not, really. It's about how he treats me, or I treat him. I can handle picking up dirty socks from his side of the bed if everything else is fine."

"I'm not ready to settle down like that, and I'm not sure he is either." She said, then shrugged, though she wasn't as nonchalant about the subject as that implied. Odin's questions were making her think about a subject she had avoided since her first disaster of an engagement.

::Odin simply accepted that, rather than further challenge the core of beliefs, as "settling down" implied they were currently in an open relationship, and he didn't have that impression from them. There would be other times for that, surely.:: "You can save the ring money and use it on something more interesting."
