((OOC: This occurs nearly a week after the events of "Early Morning Insomnia.))
::Day five of crippling insomnia. Odin's eyes were so very heavy, and his glasses were an unwelcome weight on the bridge of his nose. As such, he had taken to spending as much time as possible seated, with the glasses on whatever table beside him.
The office was busy, with the crunch of getting the issue together; most of his work was finished, and thus he spent increasingly less time in the office, and more time elsewhere. "Elsewhere" today consisted of the back of Burger King with a cup of coffee, a chicken sandwich, and a headache. Surprisingly, it was nearly empty, and no children had come by in the twenty minutes he'd been in his booth with his eyes closed.::

It was getting towards the time of year where new and warmer clothing was necessary, and Typhoid had thought it a good idea to shop in between moving things into her dorm room at the University and getting things in order at the Mansion for her departure. The Professor had provided taxi or subway fare between the Mansion, various stores, and the dorm at NYU so she could drop off her things. It was nice of him, but it also reminded her that she was soon going to have to get a legitimate driver's license, just in case if nothing else. Not to mention a job. That made her cringe.
She stopped for lunch at Burger King, if only because it was cheaper then some of the restaurants in New York. On her way to a table with her fish sandwich and soda on a tray, she was scanning for a table to sit at.

::The throbbing of his sixth sense had increased markedly when a familiar presence entered the vicinity. He questioned whether he should take something with the coffee for his growing migraine, but it would not work quickly enough. He was also not quite up to the task of opening his eyes just yet.::

Typhoid was in the general habit of ignoring or highly limiting her sense of heartbeats when in a place like New York, where the number of heartbeats she could hear often went into the millions. It grew too much for her. This time when she saw someone familiar, it was by sight only, and her eyebrow rose. Fancy that. "Odin?"

::Odin's glasses remained folded beside his tray, and with a deep breath, he opened his eyes. Undoubtedly she would approach.:: "Hello Typhoid."

She gave him a once over, and came up to his table but not really close. "I can't say you look good."

::Odin reached for his glasses, unfolded them with one hand, and slipped them onto his nose. They were still far too heavy.:: "I can't say that is the least flattering comment I've had on my appearance."

"Long night?" She felt rather stupid standing in the middle of the aisle way, and so added "And would you mind if I sat down? I'm going to be tripped over."

"By all means, sit," ::They were already engaged in conversation, and it would be better for her to set the tray down and make herself comfortable.::

"As long as you want company," she replied, sitting down but not really making a movement to begin eating.

"As long as you don't mind if I take off my glasses," ::Odin replied. The frames were already heavy on his nose, and he had little ability to handle it at the moment.::

She gave a slight shrug. "Not particularly. They're your glasses."

::It was a propriety issue, but if she didn't care, neither did Odin. He slid the glasses off and set them down on the table. He was essentially blind now, but he pressure was removed.::

Typhoid unwrapped her sandwich and took a bite, swallowing before commenting. "Insomnia?" she guessed. She'd been there herself enough.

"Insomnia," ::Odin confirmed with a nod; he had little choice in the matter. Sleep was hardly an option at present.::
