Rally for Rights

[Husk]

Paige smiled at Ty before nodding. When she said she had gotten her something her brows furrowed, "You did?" She asked, disbelief to her tone.

[Typhoid]

"Sure," Ty replied, as if it were a given. She smiled a little, the gesture feeling strange. There hadn't been a lot to smile about the past few weeks. "I thought you'd like something. It's not huge but..." She shrugged a little.

[Husk]

"Oh, you didn't have to do that though." Paige said, rather shocked that Ty would get her something. They weren't more than just friends, if even.

[Typhoid]

"I like to," she replied simply, as if that summed it up. Catching sight of another familiar face, she grimaced. "Brotherhood's here, I see."

[Odin]

"We were just discussing that," ::Odin took that opportunity to comment, as the exchange otherwise was evidently personal, and between the two women. He could infer a bit from it, but now wasn't the time to inquire.::

[Typhoid]

"Trouble yet?" asked Ty.

Astral looked around as she remained stood with John, seeing a few people from Xavier's and she waved if they looked her way. It must've looked odd, considering she was stood looking pally with the Brotherhood bunch.

[Odin]

::Odin shook his head, and slid his glasses off. The lenses were splattered, likely with an errant rain drop.:: "All clear thus far. If we want to be taken seriously as a group, we'll need to keep it that way."

[Husk]

"Well thanks." Paige said before looking over towards the brotherhood. She noticed a blonde wave but didn't recognize her. Looking back to Odin as he spoke when she felt a few rain drops. "Oh come on." She muttered.

[Typhoid]

Ty caught sight of someone standing with the Brotherhood group waving at them. She thought she'd met her before, but it had been awhile. But she was with the Brotherhood...Ty frowned. Apparently more Brotherhood members were at Xavier's then just Mags. "I doubt it'll stay that way, knowing them."

[Odin]

::Odin wiped the lenses with a tissue from his pocket, then replaced the frames on the bridge of his nose.:: "Rain won't keep us down, and neither will they."

Logan had been scouting the perimeter of the crowd when he spotted a couple of Xavier's lot stood together and came over, hands shoved casually into his jean pockets. "Well, looks like Xavier's pulled out the stops for the cavalry," he remarked dryly as he approached. He didn't recognise Odin, but didn't introduce himself either.

[Typhoid]

At the mention of the rain, Typhoid extended a shield up above their heads. It would effectively turn the rain to steam, but it was above them enough not to hurt anyone else. "Then it's an impasse."

Typhoid heard a gravelly voice and recognized Logan, though she'd only met him once or twice. She nodded a greeting. "Hello Logan."

[Odin]

::Odin looked up at the voice, and found himself face-to-face for the first time in life with the Wolverine. He recognized him from pictures, and the X-factor wouldn't lie.:: "I could say the same for you. Welcome to our powwow."

Eclipse was starting to give up on trying to find Astral, if she was there he was sure the Brotherhood would make their presence known at some point in the protest. He looked over to where Paige had gone only to see two more people there now. He recognized them from the mansion and made his way over with a 'hey'.
