Field Day

[The Man]

"Would you like me to find a smaller size?" ::The Professor offered, noticing that it appeared a tad too big for her frame.::

[Sadie]

"Uh.. yeah. Just the next size down. I don't want it to be too small for me," she replied to him. She handed the Professor the yellow t-shirt.

[wolverine]

It didn't long for Logan to step out onto the grounds, ready for the day ahead. He wasn't often the best to lead student things, but in this case his physical abilities would be needed, especially since the other team leader would be Pietro. He had already been sneaking in some bets on the side. "Is this it?" he asked at seeing only a couple of students out. "Give me the word, Prof, I'll go and drag their asses out of bed."

[The Man]

::The Professor glanced at the tag in the jersey, then found one the size smaller, which he handed to Sadie.:: "Try that one on and see if it fits better."

::Logan arrived a moment later, and he smiled at the other man, before gently chastizing his choice of vocabulary.:: "Language. And the others should arrive within the next few minutes. Pietro is not here yet, either."

[wolverine]

"Right," he said in a dismissive manner, looking over the students already outside, sizing them up.

[Husk]

Paige had heard about the Field day, and wanted to try it out. It was another way for practice in obstacles, plus, she had to work as a team. Though she wondered what team she'd be on. Hair in braided pigtails, she had jean shorts on and a plain white tank top. Seeing a few people out on the grounds already, she wondered where everyone else was. She had just gotten there when she heard the Professor scold Logan. "Hey everyone." She said cheerfully.

[Sadie]

Sadie took the smaller t-shirt and pulled it over her head and through her arms. "Yeah Professor, it seems to fit fine," she replied back to him. Sadie saw someone else approaching toward them. It wasn't until she could make the person out to be Paige. She smiled and said, "Heyy Paige!"

[Husk]

"Hey, Sadie." Paige said with a small smile.

[The Man]

"Good morning, Paige," ::The Professor greeted her with a smile. He held a gold jersey in his left hand and a blue jersey in his right.:: "Which team would you like to join?"

[Husk]

"Uh...gold." She said with a small shrug, not really sure how this was being played out.

[The Man]

::The Professor set down the blue jersey, and handed her the yellow one.:: "That is Logan's team."

[wolverine]

Logan glanced over as his name was mentioned, seeing Paige and nodding silently at her in greeting.

[Husk]

"Oh, okay." Paige said before adding a 'thanks' as she took the shirt. Putting it over her other shirt, she was glad to see that it fit her well. Looking over at Logan she smiled gently at him.

[Pietro Maximoff]

((OOC: This takes place a bit over a week after "The Diagnosis Is In."))

::Pietro had, for the most part, calmed himself from Samson's diagnoses the week before. There was still a bit of anger, a desire to spite, but he could funnel that towards a specific goal. Such as Uncle's inane field day. He had agreed before that day with Samson, and Pietro Maximoff was a man of his word.

As such, after dressing for the morning, he jogged out onto the field where Uncle and the Wolverine were, along with only a handful of students.:: "Is this it?"

[Twitch]

"Look on the bright side..." It was a little odd coming from him "Now you're here your team is twice the size"
