"Well, nothing is set in stone or anything. But, thanks." She said blushing with a grin. "We're actually going to go out tonight." She told him, blushing a little more. The very thought of Jamie gave her butterflies.

"Somewhere nice, I hope," ::Douglas said, in a light tone, a smirk on his lips. Love and infatuation were funny that way.::

"I'm sure it will be." Seer said with a small laugh, "I don't know if I'm in love yet." She said reading his mind waves, "Infatuated yes, but love not yet." She told him.

::Others might be bothered by how she read mind waves and commented on them, so not only was your privacy invaded but you knew about it. Douglas found it amusing; besides, it was her gift and he encouraged everyone to do as much with their gifts as they could. He smirked, both eyebrows moving upwards in an expression of being corrected.:: "Don't move too fast. You wouldn't want to be taken for a ride."

Seer laughed, "No wouldn't want that to happen." She said and then smirked as she read how he encourages everyone to use their gifts, "And I think you should know that...I'm telekinetic..."

::Douglas studied her a moment, his mind attuning itself to her powers. There it was, telekinesis, budding and growing stronger every day. Had he been paying attention, instead of letting himself get side-tracked with conversation, he would have caught it earlier. If he'd been paying attention, he wouldn't have gotten that tour from her, so he didn't regret that one bit.:: "Train it; you've got great potential there."

Seer grinned, "Really?" She asked, "Because I think people think that I look pretty scary when I use it." She told him truthfully. "I tried using it in front of the mirror one time and didn't see anything. Of course, I don't see things regularly...and I seem to go a little mad." She said remembering when she was at John and Rogue's Apartment. "So, I don't really know if I should use it more or not..."

::Douglas shrugged; that was the problem of humans and mutants alike, unable to accept the abilities of others. Rogue, he knew that name from that little incident at Liberty Island. With her powers, he could at least understand cautiousness on her part. Telekinesis wasn't anything he feared; he'd seen, and would keep finding, mutants with bigger, more destructive powers than that.:: "You can't expect to live up to your potential if you never use your abilities. And you can't expect to be happy if you aren't true to yourself. It's like putting blinders on for no reason. You're a mutant, not a horse."

Seer laughed, "True." She said and then her eyes went black and she held up her hand. His glasses flying off his face and hovering between them. "Happy? I am." She said with a smirk. And then the glasses went into her hand and she put them on herself and grinned.

"Good," ::Douglas said; happiness was what they needed to set themselves apart from the humans. As his glasses flew off, he blinked, suddenly nearly blind. When she brought them back, his hand shot up to readjust them.:: "Be careful with those; I'm blind without them."

"I know how that is." She told him truthfully, "Get me plastered and I can't see until morning..." She told him and gave them back. "Sorry."

::With his glasses back on, Douglas waved off the apology. The black frames once more rested where they should be, and he could see perfectly.:: "Keep that up; you'll become great with it."

"I will." She told him, smiling. "I really am going to miss you. It's going to be weird not actually seeing someone, know that I think of it."

"No such luck with Jamie?" ::Douglas asked. He'd assumed the fluke in her vision was caused by how he reacted to X-genes. That didn't mean that someone else out there wouldn't give her the same ability, somehow.::

Seer shrugged, "I know how he looks from matching his mind waves to his outlining." She told him, "Maybe in the future I'll be able to see him as clearly as I see you." She sighed, "At least I hope I do."
