((OOC: Before the Bank Robbery.))
::Odin had packed his bags and taken a few minutes to speak to Seer. She'd been missing for a good portion of his visit, and couldn't recall where she'd been. He had his suspicions but she hadn't been harmed, so they could've been paranoia on his part. He'd made sure she had his card so she could call, and then he'd gone back to his guest room. Clothing pressed, glasses polished, the dark not the light. He hadn't felt up to the light since his capture.
He'd left a note for Mystique to tell her he was leaving, but at the time, he hadn't found her. He'd decided to wait a few minutes around the grounds, to see if she got his message so he could say a proper farewell. Then it was time to head back to Chicago.::

"Odin!"
Mystique had been planning to stop by Odin's room, to see him. He'd been talking about leaving soon, but she hadn't thought he'd be ready to leave today. He left a note, and she hurried outside, to see if he'd left yet. Thankfully, he had not.

::Odin turned around at the sound of his name. Mystique had managed to find him before he left; waiting had been the right decision.:: "I see you got my note."

She nodded, walking closer to him. "I didn't think you were going to be leaving so soon after you managed to get into a room on the upper level."

::Odin was always on the road, and he couldn't cope with Westchester a day longer. It was time to leave, to try and get his bearings again.:: "If I can move, I will. That's how I am."

She gave a rueful smile. "I used to be like that, too." And now she was seemingly polar opposite of who she used to be.

"Not all of us can be happily pregnant," ::Odin replied with not quite a smirk and a gesture at her swollen stomach.::

She grinned. "I'm not sure you'd ever want to wish that upon yourself," she joked. "All of the morning sickness, mood swings, strange cravings...and did I mention that everything feels sore for days on end?"

::This time, Odin did smirk, and he set down his bags. They could sit down in lawn chairs to finish up this conversation.:: "If you had a good night of partying, it's the same effect."

She laughed, as they sat down on lawn chairs. "I'm sure that it must be one hell of a party to have such an effect for nine months afterwards."

::Odin crossed his legs as he sat in the chair, leaned back to try and relax. It felt better to have his sense of humor back.:: "If you have a good enough lover, Mystique, anything is possible."

"You have no idea," she said, a roguish smile on her lips.

::Odin's grin broadened. He'd never slept with a telepath, but he'd had his own escapades. Not recently, but that didn't take away from it.:: "I can't speak for you, but I've got my own stories."

"Do tell," she said, joking. But she still leaned forward, an interested look on her face.

::Odin's expression sobered, as he felt the tug in the back of his mind. It wasn't a question, thankfully; instead it was a teasing order. He didn't want to go into those stories; he tried to go through life revealing as little about himself as he could. Though he liked Mystique, it wasn't hers to know.:: "Please don't ask."
