"I blow up things with balls of energy?" Tabitha said and then laughed softly. "My power, that's how I got my name or names."

Gambit laughed. "Alors, c'est bien, a kindred spirit," he remarked with a grin. "My powers are similar."

Tabitha grinned. "Really? How so?" She asked, excited that someone had similar powers to her own.

"I 'xplode stuff," Gambit explained, taking his glass of gin from the bartender and thanking him with a brief nod of the head, "by touchin' it."

"Just by touching it?" Tabitha asked. "Damn...I have to make these." She said and created a small 'time bomb' in her hand as an example, seconds later it exploded, though she muffled the sound. "That's just a party favor, though. The explosions get bigger with the size of the bomb."

"Impressive," Gambit nodded with a small smirk as he watched the demonstration. "Gettin' into much trouble for dat, non?" he asked with a knowing wink.

Tabitha grinned and nodded. "Much trouble...Can't help it." She said with a small laugh. "Well, I could, but it's way too much fun."

"Eh oui, tell me 'bout it," Gambit laughed and shook his head. He scanned the crowd briefly, still remaining alert to the surroundings, then returned his glance to the girl. "Where are ya from?"

"Roanoke, Virginia." Tabitha told him. No emotion showing through her features as she said her hometown and state, as she looked at the bartender ahead. She took a drink from her ginger ale, before looking back to Gambit. "You?" She asked, though it was kind of obvious.

"Ok, and if I get it right you have to give me fifty dollars." Tabitha said and then thought for a moment about what her answer would be, thinking about his accent and all the details about it. There were different places that people had the same accents, but always slightly different.

"No I don't," Gambit shook his head as he kept grinning. "I might buy ya 'nother drink, but dat's where my charity ends, so far."

Tabitha sighed playfully. "Fine." She said and grinned. "Your accent isn't French, though you speak it. I'd say you were Cajun and...I'm thinking New Orleans." She had been there a summer or so back, she knew the accent well.

"Tres bien," Gambit chuckled. "So, what are you havin', den?" I'm oh so generous tonight, he added inwardly. Could have something to do with the fact that she was a fellow thief...

"Just a ginger ale." Tabitha told him and then drank what was left of what she had.
