Michael couldn't help but smile. "A goth?" he asked. "Well, that does seem like she's your complete opposite. Such a change would be hard not to notice, even if I hadn't been an empath."

Maya smiled, "Yeah..." She said, "If you ever see me decked out in black clothing, dark make-up, and a new hairstyle...runaway." She told him her smile faultering just a bit.

"When she takes over I'm gone...I can't control her. The only way I get back is if she's bored..." Maya said with a sigh, "The only thing I know that can keep her at bay is to never get angry. If I'm not angry I don't change into her."

"Okay," Michael nodded, "so if I meet her, I'll just make her really bored, and that will be the end of story. Not to mention that I can guarantee you won't get angry when I'm around."

Maya shrugged, "People who are rude, people who make fun of me, and sometimes if I don't get my way..." She trailed off. "Let's see what else is there...men who try to press themselves on women..." She said with a slight shudder.
