With his opponent down, he sheathed his claws and punched him across the face to make him stay down. Whilst Storm was still dealing with the girl, he ran towards the remaining human to help.

Storm let loose one last lightning bolt as the mutant woman backed up, this time so close that it would have melted the tops of her shoes. "If you actually feel like staying alive," Ororo said, voice half a snarl from both anger and a new burgeoning headache,"you'll run."

The male mutant no longer had the strength to get back up and lay on the floor, nearly unconscious now. The woman tried her best to glare at Storm, not letting her fear show after almost being killed. "Don't think this'll be the last time," she spat back, having to take a moment to finally find her footing.

Logan crouched by the female human, her male friend dead, but he knew they had to concentrate on the survivor. He wasn't the best for this job, but Storm was more than a little preoccupied. "Can you tell me your name?"

"For you, it had better be," Storm replied, narrowing her completely white eyes. Logan was over by the surviving human, and for now she had to concentrate on this mutant.

The human had stayed near her friend, tears streaming down her face. As the fight had gotten worse she had tried to further into the corner of the alley but found herself trapped. When Logan came over she looked up to him slowly, not saying anything at first as if she had forgotten her name. "A-Al-Alison," she stammered.
"You wish," the angry mutant said in response, trying to not let her pain and defeat show.

"Ok, Alison," said Logan, glancing towards Storm to ensure she was handling the remaining attack easily. "We won't let you get hurt."

Storm's eyes whitened, and a crackle of energy ran through her, turning her into a living conductor for the lightning she generated. It would give the girl a good shock, enough to be painful but not to knock her out. And it made for quite a show. "No," she contradicted, voice even but the threat unmistakeable. "You'll wish, if I ever see you again."

She had almost believed his words when her attention was caught by the sounds of someone crying out in pain and she saw what looked like lightning coming out of the white haired woman's body, shocking the other woman until she fell the ground. "I want to get out of here now!" the scared human shouted, unable to back herself up any further into the corner.

"Hold on," Logan told the woman as gently as he could, looking back at Storm. "Are you done with her yet?" he called, as if impatient.

Storm stood up; it looked like the other woman was hurting enough to be down for quite awhile. "Yeah," she said, grimacing. "I am. Keep your pants on."

Her eyes kept darting from the woman laid down on the ground in obvious pain back up to the two mutants. She wasn't sure what to make of them as her friend had just been killed by two mutants and that they could possibly be putting on an act to try and get her to feel safe.

"Good," he replied, then nodding to the woman in front of him in silent indication that Storm should deal with this.

She shot him a "so I'm the woman and I get to handle the comforting, is that it?" look before she approached the human on the ground and her expression smoothed. "I'm Ororo," she said, holding out her hand but not really getting too close to the girl, afraid she'd spook. "Are you all right?"

Her attention was set on the woman as she came over. "Not really," she murmured, not moving to take her hand just yet. Slowly she moved from her position on the ground, not trusting her legs all that easily as the shock was still there from the events that had taken place so recently.
