"Whoever's stupid enough to come to me first," Logan responded, not hesitating to release his claws with a satisfied hiss of the unsheathing metal.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Ororo replied, her eyes going white as the sky darkened. It wasn't smart, not with the news she'd just gotten, but at this point she didn't care.

While they knew who these two were, they hardly seemed fazed. Already feeling they had power over everyone after cornering two helpless humans. "I guess the stupid one would be me," the man growled out, remaining in a larger than normal size as he took a few steps forward if only to challenge Wolverine.

"Sorted, then," Logan commented offhandedly to Storm before he burst into a run from her side and into the alley, determined to be able to rescue the human who remained.

Storm was left with the girl who seemed to be sticking to a wall. "Let's do something about that, then," she smirked half to herself, and held out her arms as if to embrace the storm she was creating. A bolt of lightning coalesced to strike on the wall above the woman, blasting it to pieces in a shower of falling masonry.

As Wolverine came charging towards him, he quickly shrunk back to his normal size so he could dodge him easier. The female mutant wasn't so lucky and as the wall was blasted above her she tried her best to hold on and protect herself from the falling debri, easily getting cut up and almost knocked out by some of the fallen bricks.

Logan turned swiftly as the man shrunk in size, eyes fixated on him harshly. Gripping his fists tightly, he swung out his claws towards the other mutant, accompanied by a growl of effort.

Storm rose up next to the girl still clinging to wall, floating in midair on wind. "I could do that again, but I'm getting bored now," she said, grappling with the woman.

He quickly tried to move out of the way of Wolverine's movements but got the side of his arm cut in the process, letting out a cry of pain. The woman however, glared at Storm, not liking her sarcasm at all. She was risking a chance of hurting herself more but once the sticky residue had helped seperate her from the wall she lunged at Storm who was mid-air in an attempt to get them both down to the ground.

Logan did not relent in his strikes, unleashing a few more swipes of his claws before attempting to stab into the man's torso entirely.

Storm had never been able to support more then herself at one time on the wind currents, unless the current was particularly strong. It wasn't now. She fell with the woman grappling with her, and attempted to create a cushion of air for the both of them to fall on. It worked, but she landing with a hard thump on the ground nonetheless, and rolled, trying to push the woman to the ground and immobilize her.

The man found himself struggling to win this fight especially after taking a painful slash to his torso. He tried to hold back his cry of agony, attempting to grab one of the offending hands to stop the violent stabbing of his claws The female mutant wasn't having much luck herself and as she was rolled onto her back she pushed her knee up into Storm's chest to try and push her off of her.

Even as his hands were grabbed, his attacks did not stop, and he sharply jutted his knee into the man's gut before unleashing an outward kick to propel him towards the alley wall.

Storm managed to deck her opponent across the jaw before she was pushed off, and she rolled and came up on her feet. Lightning cracked across the sky, which was growing progressively darker. Ororo could only imagine what the weathermen were saying on the news, and decided to make the most of the light show. A succession of lightning bolts hit the ground in front of the female, trying to force her against the wall on one side of the alley.

No matter how defensive he was trying to be, he was unable to stop himself from being kicked backwards. His adrenaline was beginning to rush out letting the pain become noticed and made it harder to get back up. His partner wasn't having much luck herself, a bit dazed by the punch to her jaw. Holding onto it she had to stop trying to get rid of the pain as lightning bolts came down around her. She wasn't able to see how the guy was doing as she scrambled back onto her feet (if a bit unsteadily,) trying to avoid them.
