::Odin took another sip, then lowered the cup, let his hands rest on either side to feel the warmth through the ceramic.:: "It's a traveler's factoid."

"Not exactly a traveller," she added with a small smile, then looking down into her mug as she lowered it to the tabletop.

"You came here from out West," ::Odin pointed out, although traveling wasn't synonymous with being a traveler. He was a traveler, or he had been. Now he'd settled.::

"I guess," she replied with a small shrug of her shoulders. "But it's not like I was travelling for the sake of seeing the world."

"Yeah," she admitted quietly, running her thumb along the handle of her mug slowly. "I doubt I'll be doing much travelling yet. It costs money."

His thoughts came back to the present, and he shook his head. It wasn't for him.:: "Men like me don't have other halves."

::Odin's expression shifted to one of understanding, almost what could be described as sympathetic solidarity. Stacy lifted her mug, about to take a sip when she burst out into soft laughter at his words. "Aw, darn," she said teasingly.

::Odin smiled a half-grin at her laughter; his sense of humor had returned. That was certain.:: "I'm sorry to disappoint."

"I'd hope so; it's a non-negotiable issue," ::Odin replied gravely, despite the expression on his lips.::
