Gambit wasn't surprised that Charles knew about him and Shade. It was the mansion. People found out things eventually. And not even because some of them were telepaths.

It was her dad. And she's just kissed him on the cheek. Ethan didn't know if he could make any worse of a first impression. Right, he couldn't talk to tell her dad hello.
Ethan gave Phoebe's dad his hand and shook it. He waved with his other hand.
