John rolled his eyes, frowning deeply, as he walked back over towards a nearby tree, and leaned against it. He then began to idly burn various leaves and pieces of grass with his lighter.

She nodded to Dia and answered "Well, I saw better days". Then she looked to Raelin and agreed to that what Tim had said "We did not see us. I am Shona". She reached her a hand and saw, how white it still was.

At the sound of Phoebe's voice, Ethan turned around excitedly. She was with a man he'd never seen before. But she'd told him that her dad worked here. Was that him?
Ethan didn't think she saw him. She walked over to a bunch of the other kids. She was just a lot more social than he was.

Phoebe grinned. "Hey, D," she replied. "Hey Rogue."
She was still a little miffed at Tim, but decided that the Professor was right; this wasn't the time for conflict. They could deal with it later. Instead, she said, if a bit deflated, "Hey Tim."
Looking around, she spotted Ethan and her grin widened. "Hey," she called, walking over to him. "Happy Fourth of July."

Gambit walked up to the party place, but stopped at some distance, lighting a cigarette and simply watching everyone. Now he could see them all in their natural environment, not at his club.

He smiled at Phoebe. Ethan was really happy to see her. And after talking with Shade he was trying to be less nervous around her. Ethan didn't want her to think he was scared of her.
He signed to her, "Happy July 4th!"
