She thought for a second, but grabbed then her shoes and took his hand. As she stood beside him, she said "Cookies, he? Sounds good".

Phoebe came outside, her hair in a ponytail and covered by a baseball cap. She wore shorts, a tank top, and, like Ethan, no shoes. Her toes wriggled in delight at the feel of grass under them.
"Hey guys," she greeted everyone. "Fourth of July barbecue, eh, Professor? I brought some extra hands." She nodded behind her, where Jamie was grinnning.

Jamie grinned. He wore swim trunks and loose green t-shirt, his flip flops flapping on his feet as he walked. "Just point me in the right direction, sir," he grinned. "I've got enough of me to enjoy the going ons and cook, if you feel like socializin' a bit."
