Seeing Dia and Seer talking not too far away, he initially intended to go over and say 'hello'. But as they seem to be in deep conversation, he decided against it and went over to check out the BBQ.

"Please," the Doctor replied, with a grin towards Jamie. "Fourth of July, isn't it?" he asked. He wasn't entirely clued up on American traditions. He only knew a little about Independence Day.

Seer shook her head, "No, I was fifteen and my parents thought I shouldn't have a kid, so they put him into foster care." She told her quietly.

"Indeed it is," Jamie replied with a grin, putting a burger on a plate for the Doctor. "And what better way to celebrated independence than with a giant barbecue and some fireworks after dark." He grinned.
