Gambit watched the scene between Rogue, Pyro and Tim, narrowing his eyes. Kids were obviously having fun. He thought of smoking another cigarette, but decided against it, seeing as he was still standing near the Professor. "Nine o'clock it is, den," he responded to the latter's last remark.

Strike had heard that there was a barbecue out in the grounds to celebrate Indepedance Day and thought that she would go in order to try and meet some new people. Being shy, especially around strangers she had not met that many people and thought that it would be a good opportunity to make some friends. As she headed towards where the barbecue was she realised that she didn't know anyone there other than Rogue, but she looked like she was about to leave. Strike wondered whether she should just leave, she still wasn't that good when it came to meeting strangers.

After a moment, Shade returned with two cokes and an iced tea, carfulle holding the glasses with her hands, letting the two men take them. "There you go." she said, then sipped a bit of her coke.

"That sounds good and I am sure that you will find a really nice flat. Ok, because some people do not like questions" she said and smelt the barbecue. Her stomach grumbled loud and she patted her jelly. "Are you hungry? We can take a look, what it is all on the grill. What do you think?" she asked her.
